The Best I've Ever Had
This makes absolutely the best French Onion Soup I have ever had. Nuf' said. I use the box recipe with a couple of changes.Matt's French Onion SoupServes: 2Need two soup crock pots. Some will be left over and can be frozen in a vacuum bag for future usage.1 box Cugino's Baked Burgundy French Onion Soup Mix4 (1-ounce) slices of circular provolone cheese 2 should be slighly larger that the top of the crock pot's opening4 slices bread2 slices mozzarella cheese1. Make the onion soup per the box direction except double the boil time to thicken the broth.2. Meanwhile, place each bread slice on a cutting board.3. Press and rotate the upside down open end of the crock onto the bread and rotate it to cut it into a circle the size of the crock pot opening.4. Place one of the circular slices of bread into the bottom of each crock pot.5. Place a slice of the smaller provolone cheese over the bread in each crock pot.6. Place a slice of mozzarella cheese over the bread in each crock pot.7. Ladle the soup mix while still very hot into each crock pot about 1/2 inch from the top.8. Place the remaining slices of circular bread onto the top of each crock pot making sure the top is even with the top of the crock pot.9. Place the remaining slices over the top of the crock pots.10. Place the crock pots in the oven and broil until the top layer of provolone cheese is browned and toasty.11. Serve immediately and enjoy after it's cool enough to eat! Yum yum! So tasty!

Great Tasting Onion Soup.
If you love homemade French Onion Soup, then you will surely enjoy this product. I enjoyed this soup enough to purchase several more and bought the Holland Rusk rounds to go with it. I made it for myself but had to share it with my family members, who conveniently showed up as I was getting ready to have lunch. (The real reason I had to buy more.) I don't mind sharing, but I sure would've liked to have had more than one cup. I highly recommend this soup. My only added recommendation is that you add more onions than the mix calls for. Enjoy.

Horrible!
I have bought this brand for the last 5 years or so and now it is Horrible. I don't know what they did to the recipe but it tastes like it's loaded with preservatives and artificial ingredients. It leaves an awful after taste too. I will never buy it again.

VEGETARIAN’S
This soup is so delicious. I sautéed the onion first and then added half portobello broth (from ShopRite) and half water. It’s amazing. I used to make my own, but this is so much better. Add bread and cheese and it’s heavenly. Buy it!
