Amazing Educational Cut & Paste Workbook
The media could not be loaded. I bought this cut and paste workbook for my almost 4 year old as a Christmas gift for under $5. This was the first cut and paste activity she had ever done. I think we finished the book in two sessions. Each time we worked on it she was super eager to keep doing more. The activities inside the workbook were educational and age-appropriate so that she was able to comprehend the information and also have fun while doing it. I highly recommend this book to anyone with children who are looking for an educational activity that includes cutting and pasting.

Fun workbook for practicing cutting & pasting skills - daughter approved! 😉
My daughter (4.5 years old in PreK) needed some extra practice with cutting, so I looked for some workbooks that would possibly help her and keep her interest. This particular workbook was the MOST fun to her because of the various activities on each page. My only criticism, and reason for the four star review, is that for the actual activities could be more challenging for the intended age group. I’ve included photo to show a couple of sample pages, and you can see that it’s not too difficult to determine which person gets which hat. However, the real skill being practiced is trying to cut out each individual square from the page.Since most of the shapes to be cut out are either squares or rectangles, I challenged my daughter to try and cut the pictures out themselves. They weren’t always cut perfectly, but it was a good challenge and way to mix up the activities.I would definitely recommend this workbook to anyone looking for something to help with simple cutting and pasting skills that are fun for kids. It certainly held my daughter’s attention for a good half an hour or so at a time.

Good practice book that can improve multiple skills at once...
This is a good book for a preschooler to improve fine motor skills while practicing basic knowledge. The book has 22 pages of exercises where you glue the pieces you previously cut. The cutting pages come after the exercise pages and they could be detached through perforations for convenient cutting. The last pages contain 68 stickers and the final page is a completion certificate. Most pieces are around 2X2 inch squares and the borders are marked with blue dashed lines (same lines mark the borders of where you need to stick the piece on the exercise- so there is no confusion.) There is one example where the kid needs to cut a circle rather than square (a bit more challenging.) Apart from cutting and gluing, the exercises focus on basic counting, addition tasks as well as finding the relation between two objects (like what does this animal eat or finding an appropriate location for an object in a picture.) Finally there are some tasks related to completing a picture by gluing the missing pieces (a basic version of a jigsaw puzzle)My four years old son has completed half of the exercises within two hours but he surely needs my guidance to be able to understand the tasks properly. He had some scissors practice before but I think this book helped him to be more precise. He got better towards the end. The book comes with a gift as well (if you register to an online website with the code included they let you download and print 4 more pages of exercise)For less than $4, I liked this book for most parts. My only two slight criticisms are 1- some pictures are not well drawn (like a policeman in the figure does not that much resemble one) and 2- the final sticker pages are a mixture of random stickers with no theme and purpose.

Our toddler loved this book!
We do a cut and paste activity every evening to practice motor skills. We love that this book included a variety of subjects (counting pennies, completing a picture, comparisons, matching, etc.). I only wish it were longer! :)

Great for beginning cutting skills!
I am a former educator and homeschooling my preschooler this year. I purchased this book to get him accustomed to holding scissors and cutting. We both really enjoyed this activity book and it has been one of our favorites of the many we have ordered! We just finished the book. My 3 year old LOVED it and wanted to do a couple pages a day. I loved that the pages were perforated, full color, and had some other type of educational skill that tied into each page, like counting, etc., so they are learning other academic skills in addition to cutting. The cutting activities were simple enough that my 3 year old could do it himself with instruction and then minimal supervision from me. The sticker pages in the back were a fun bonus! Highly recommend for 3-4 year olds.
