These taste like regular pancakes! Soooo good!

I honestly like the pancakes from this mix more than traditional buttermilk pancakes made with wheat flour. The rice flour in this mix makes it possible to get crispy edges* on these pancakes that you could never get on buttermilk pancakes made with wheat flour. (Some people might not like that, but I sure do!!)It’s not just the crispy edges I like, but I also enjoy the overall flavor and feel of the subtly chewy, soft interior. (I use almond milk instead of cow’s milk with this mix and also use coconut, olive or avocado oil to add directly to the mix, and for cooking, rather than butter or ghee.)*Getting the crispy edges is not guaranteed. I use almond milk instead of cow’s milk with this mix and I use coconut oil for cooking instead of butter. I also add oil directly to the pancake mix instead of butter. For me to get the crispy edges, I have to preheat a heavy bottomed pan for about 5 minutes and be very generous with the coconut oil I fry the pancakes in. I’m probably also cooking my pancakes at just slightly higher temp than recommended, but I haven’t measured the pan surface temperature, so can’t say for sure on that.) If you’re going for crispy edges good luck!! It’s not super difficult, but may take you some practice and experimenting to achieve the coveted crispy edged pancakes I enjoy. :)

Good pancake mix if you are gluten free.

Delicious gluten free pancakes no more messed up stomach from eating the gluten ones anymore. Good value for the money and has some positive health benefits without the gluten

OMG! The best gluten free pancake mix I ever bought. The texture and flavor are wonderful, good value for your money.

I use a lot of Bob's products; and have for many years; but this one isn't on my top ten list. It isn't "bad" or subpar but it is actually different quality and texture than the Bob's Gluten Free Bisquit Mix - which I've been making pancakes with for awhile. Since the option to try actual 'pancake mix' was available to me; I thought well why not? There IS a difference; and so; I will go back to using the GF bisquit mix - no problem. ALWAYS willing to try Bob's products - they are typically always a winner in my kitchen. I recommend this with some caution.

This is my favorite pancake mix and I buy this exclusively. It has a delicious taste and definitely does not taste gluten-free. The whole family enjoys it and always request it. I do have to say it is a little thicker than other pancake batters. I think because it is gluten-free that may be the reason. I just add more milk to it to try to thin it out. I usually add chocolate chips which makes it taste really good. It is pretty easy to mix once you have the ratio down of ingredients. I also use this to make little stuffed pancake muffins in the oven. Those come out delicious as well. I use it to make waffles too. I cannot recommend this product enough! Especially if you're looking for a product that is gluten free that does not taste remotely gluten-free.
