Jaxx Zipline Convertible Sleeper Sofa & Three Ottomans/California King-Size Bed, Dove Grey

TO be honest I was a little reserved in buying this, since the price point is quite high, and it is essentially a large foldable memory foam mattress. I bought this because I was putting it in our basement rec room, which has a very narrow staircase, and a normal sofa would have trouble getting down there. This came packaged in one box about the size of a coffee table, and can easily be dragged and squished up the stairs if needed. Nevertheless I was very presently surprised, this thing is durable! It is very firm, which I like because I am always laying on it as is my bowling ball of a dog, and it is surprisingly large, almost too big, since it folds into a king-size mattress. It is also incredibly easy to convert from sofa to bed, it takes like 30 seconds and child could do it. I also love how the covers can come off to be washed very easily. All in all a good purchase especially for a basement room, or a kids room. And the 3 ottomans are very versatile, they actually double as a great dog bed, since the are super firm cubes, that never sag.

We bought this couch for our rec room/playroom a couple months ago. So far we've left it folded out in the "bed" configuration. My 2 year old LOVES it. She likes to jump on it of course and it's low enough to the ground that I don't worry about her falling off. Her favorite thing to do though is to take one of the ottomans out of the center and "hide". It's a nice cozy spot for her. It's large enough for myself, my husband, our daughter and our lab to all be on it at the same time. My sister and her husband recently slept on it for a couple of nights too and said it was pretty comfortable. I bought a cheap quilted mattress topper to put on there, hoping they wouldn't be able to feel the gaps where the ottomans fill in to make the bed. She said she could still feel them but was able to position her hips where it wasn't too bad. I'm thinking that if you had a memory foam mattress topper it would be even more comfortable. Set-up was super easy. My husband had it all out of the box with covers on before I could even pull out the instructions. I did read them though and heeded the advice to make sure the foam is pushed into all of the covers. Shape is great and covers fit snug without being difficult to assemble. The only downside is the ugly black zippers that stand out against the dark grey fabric. The zippers are heavy duty though so I expect them to stand up. Overall, this was a great purchase for the purpose we intended it for.

Very happy with my purchase. I have been watching the price on these for years and missed out a few times. I wish they sold just the cover so that I could easily change the color. I really want the tomato color couch. It was better fabric and a better color for my room. The new fabric is still pretty ok. But it shows directional moves too much. Overall perfect basement couch. Not heavy like other sleeper sofas. So no broken back and great for company or kids. We even used one of the cushions as a stool for the kids to brush their teeth. Also great for rental properties.

Please save yourself the unwanted hassle and time. Received the wrong color…. I ordered pewter and received grey. Once assembled (putting the fabricCovers on) it still looked messy and cheap…at best it can go in a toddlers play room, and I can still think of one thousand alternatives to that. It’s extremely low to ground. Then comes the return, this product comes in a very small box that once opened it cannot fit into. Had to get amazon’s third party to pick it up…and now waiting 7-14 days for them to receive so I can be credited with the return. This couch IS NOT sturdy and for the price you can find a much cheaper alternative that will deliver the same results.

I ordered the item expecting to come in 2-3 weeks but it actually was going to come within 1 week. I had to contact the seller to put a hold on my delivery since I was out of town and they immediately followed through with my request. Item arrived in 1 large box. Upon opening it, it immediately expanded to about full size. Like others have said, make sure you place the covers on immediately. I was already having difficulty putting the covers on towards the end. The materials is soft, and seats were comfortable. It is the perfect firmness for me in terms of a mattress (I like extra firm). Overall quality is excellent. My kids love it in their toy room. It’s perfect for them to play or sleep on. It’s so versatile and kids move the pieces around like legos building forts lol! This is a keeper for years to come.

Sits lower than I thought and is somewhat hard to sit on. When in the sofa position, the top section slides off to the side and requires frequent adjustment to correct

Works well for guest room seating and we hope for sleeping (as we haven't tried that yet, however; we believe a foam topper will be needed as to not feel the separation between the inner cushions when laid flat). Cushions did not line up perfectly in casing, even following the instructions explicitly, but not a big deal as it is for the guest room.We will be building a platform like one of the other reviewers did to add a bit more height to the seat area, otherwise; too low for some of our taller guests.

The navy/indigo color and texture is amazing! However it doesnt do well at all as a bed as the foam is too firm. Additionally after a while it isn't the most comfortable couch to sit on
