Shallow extra compartment for center console
Useful for key fob and fairly slim wallet and maybe even Android. Those 3 would fill it out. Slender items necessary though because the armrest won't press down to full shut otherwise. Even when empty, you can feel that the armrest is only just able to click shut.

Why doesn't the car come with this?
The center storage area on the BMW 3-series is a large, wide open space. I was having trouble finding a spot for my glasses that would keep them from sliding around when I was not using them. This tray fit perfectly and gave me a great place to put my glasses. It did take a long time to receive but it is a very functional addition.
