Phlebotomy: QuickStudy Laminated Reference Guide

I purchased this study guide because I was struggling in my Phlebotomy Class, this guide is very informational, simplified things for me and was everything I needed to PASS my certification exam and more at a very affordable price.

I love it!!! I think I could almost pass the Certification with just what's on this Quick Study Pamplet!!! My only issue is that my eyesight isn't as good as it could be, so the words could be larger... but I understand why they wrote it like they did; because they put SO MUCH information onto it! I expected it to cover the basics, but I just didn't expect it to have as much of the Phlebotomy info as it does! I would recommend this to ANYONE taking a Phlebotomy course or needing to know anything about Phlebotomy!!! It has my highest review!!

This is so helpful! Not anything to replace the textbook but something to have when you need a quick review. After extensively studying the text that was required for my class, I used this to do a quick review for my final. While waiting to take my final outside of class, I whipped this bad boy out and read over it again and again. Reading the helpful summaries helped everything click in my brain to remember certain things I may have forgotten if I had not ordered this little book. I passed my final with a 98/100, probably due to the fact that this refreshed my brain! Now I am out of school and done with the program, but when I forget little things here and there, I'll return to this quick summary of important information. The quickstudy includes locations and different patterns of veins, the order of draw, tube colors and additives, what they additives do inside of the tube, abbreviations for different terms, a number of phlebotomy tests and what they do, as well as what you should if a patient is feeling faint or ill. Overall very helpful!
