The price tag is a bit shocking, but ultimately this device is absolutely worth it if you’re having trouble inserting your large format lenses. I’ve been wearing hybrid lenses for years so the S5 Mini was an easy transition and I got both lenses perfectly inserted on the first try, first time out with the device. Can’t say that was my usual experience before using the S5 mini.Suction cup base works very well, the lens plunger is the familiar and affordable DMV vented unit for hybrid lenses, and it was easy to put things together for use and easy to disinfect with an alcohol prep pad.I am hopeful that the light will give good service, too early to be sure but everything seems well made. The plastic parts look to be 3D printed out of quality plastic, and appear sturdy. I didn’t need to use customer support but the promise of help until you get things worked out is priceless.If you’re having trouble with inserting your large format contact lenses, the price of this thing goes from “what?” to “what did I do before I had this?” in the blink of an eye.I rarely if ever do reviews but this is a great product and deserves more notice.

This was a game changer! I have scleral lens & had them for several years. They could be pretty fussy to insert at times. I have no issue with coming close to my eyes.When I tried this product it was like magic!! Easy to insert, no discomfort at all,no bubbles & took less than 5min.at the most to put them both in. BRILLIANT INVENTION !!I am so thankful for this device! It changed my Sons athletic life and he has improved so much in the sports he plays because he no longer wears glasses and now is wearing contacts!! He couldn’t touch his eyeballs and believe me he tried. I happened to come upon this device and thought to myself, if there is any way to not have to touch your eyeball, this device is the way. It is as easy as 1,2,3 !!Get this for pmyoyr loved one who can’t put in contacts. It will change their life like it did my Sons. Thanks to Dr Mahgoub who is the best and most supportive creator of this device. He has answered any and all of our inquiries.

This device is a game changer if you are new to Scleral lenses. I struggled for two days after first receiving my lens (I only need one eye lens), attempting to insert the lens for hours with no success. This device allows me to now insert the lens in minutes. The key change for me is that it lets you hold both eyelids wide open until the lens sticks to your eye. The light emitting through the DMV vented scleral cup, which sits on top of the device, gives your eyeball a focus point for alignment purposes, which is very helpful. The price is unreasonable for what the product must cost to manufacture, but like others, I am desperate for a workable solution. I don't appreciate being taken advantage of. The bottom line is that if you are struggling with lens insertion like I was, this product solves the problem.

I had high hopes for this so-called 'ultimate' contact lens inserter, but I am deeply disappointed with its poor quality. To begin with, the price of $300 is exorbitant for a product that should cost no more than a few bucks, especially considering mass production. I was willing to overlook the price if it delivered on its promised innovation and functionality. However, the basic component meant to stabilize the product, the cup suction, simply does not work at all. When I reached out to the company for a replacement, they responded with a redundant explanation from the manual, as if I hadn't already read it. Their lack of assistance and condescension towards a customer was truly insulting. This product is of very low quality, and I believe it's important for everyone to be aware of this.

I have had keratoconus for the last 30 years. I underwent a corneal transplant on my right eye and have worn glasses since. I recently was prescribed Scolaris Hybrid RGP lenses by my ophthalmologist. I had used hard contact lenses, semi-soft contact lenses, and soft contact lenses in the past prior to my corneal transplant. Going back to contacts with something I was not looking forward to. Once I was fitted for my new lenses I realize just how much vision I had lost over the years and what a game this would be. However my anxiety sword about how I would get the lenses on and off successfully. My first fitting was not too successful and I left the doctor's office extremely discouraged and feeling defeated. I then came across the mini S5 on Amazon. On the day my lenses were delivered to me I brought my mini S5 with me to the doctor's office and was able to insert my lens of successfully after the second try and a successfully able to remove them as well. I've been using the mini S5 now for the past week and I can tell you it is a game changer I have my lenses at home and I am putting them on and taking them off with the help of my mini S5. The lenses are great but I don't know how I would have gotten through the installation and removal of my lenses on my own without the mini S5. If you have any hesitation at all about this believe me this many S5 will make a difference it really does work. And they support that you are entitled to after registering the mini S5 is just unbelievable. I strongly would urge you to make an investment and the mini S5 if you are having these issues it will make a huge difference cannot recommend them highly enough I guess if I had to sum it up it would be their Mini 5 is life-changing ...thank you and thanks to Dr. Fayiz Mahgoub & his team for being there & all the life changing work they do!

I normally do not rate items but this particular item help me to be able to insert the lens which I had not been able to do while learning how at my Doctors office on two different occasions. I was reluctant to purchase it because of the price so I bought a cheaper version that did not work at all for me. Once I bought this I was able to insert the lens and I’m able to where the lens to improve my vision. It is worth every penny I spent on it!
