CURT 25153 Straight Tongue Trailer Coupler for 2-Inch Channel, 2-In Hitch Ball, 3,500 lbs

It's made to fit a 2" channel or square tubing. It fit my 2" tubing with no issues. There are two top holes, it advises not for mounting. I am not sure why, but I planned and used the side holes. These holes are sized for 1/2" diameter bolts. Holes were correctly sized, lined up as they should.I picked zinc finish over painted. Item was burr free and well made.It does not come with mounting hardware or a pin to lock the coupler lever, but I knew that before I bought, so that was not a worry. If I were to need another, I would buy again.

I added this to my Harbor Freight 1720 LB trailer. The trailer comes with an 1 7/8 ball mount and a 2.5 " mounting gap. I use a 2" ball for everything and I hated having to use washers to fill the gap. This bolted up and fit perfectly and solved both of my problems. As with all Curt products, quality is great and a great value.

Good piece of equipment which is what you’d expect from Curt. Only giving it four stars as I have never had a label that was so difficult to remove. We’re talking crazy difficult here when there is no need for it to be so. I’d literally find one manufactured by someone else if I needed another one.
