Burns Cleaner & No problems
It burns hotter & cleaner from my experience last summer. The price needs to come down. But I found it to be no less than Kingsford. And in some respects I like it more.

Just as good as the other stuff
I got this because it could be shipped with my Fresh order. It came on time and works just as well as the name brands. The bag is good sized as well. I'll definitely order when I need it again.

Decent briquettes, but less dense than some other brands
Briquettes are fine, burn nicely, and work well enough. The briquettes are lighter in weight, less dense, than some others I use and seem to burn almost as long. IMHO there are better briquettes available, as well as some that are cheaper, but these are okay- not great, not bad. They're fine for most grilling applications.

Good for price
Burn easy, light easy, but leaves a gaseous odor, more than your usual charcoal.

Comparable to Kingsford, but burns hotter
Whole Foods doesn’t have Kingsford briquettes, so we’ve ordered their store brand twice now. They are comparable, although my husband says they burn hotter than Kingsford. It’s not a bad thing, as long as you can adjust accordingly.
