Beautiful and works well to break up or mash. Mine came with a chip in it but it's not in a spot where I'll hit it with the pestle so I kept it. HEAVY but that helps to keep it still. There's also a silicone antiskid pad on the bottom and a sleeve for the pestle. Great price and super cute design

I bought this for my husband for Christmas and am extremely pleased with my purchase! It is durable, comfortable to use, and the perfect size. I wasn’t expecting as high of quality because the price is so low, but I was happy to be proved wrong. The only issue we’ve had is that I’m unable to get the olive oil out of the granite. Not that big of deal in the long run, however. (It just makes the granite look darker.)Very happy! I recommend it!

Very attractive mortar and pestle. Looks great on my kitchen counter. I use it often to grind pills and muddle herbs. Heavy and will last a long time. Glad I bought it.

I have been using it sense it came in the mail its heavy and sturdiness is perfect for me its super thick I have had some others in the past to just break because it was so thin so far the dueability is great no cracks or chips anywhere 10/10

LOVE IT. Great value for the price, nice strong stone that's durable to crush peppercorns, seasoning cubes, grind dried fish--bones and all. But it is much smaller than I expected. Wouldn't recommend for anyone who grinds spices or mixes in bulk.

Was looking for a granite grinder for my daughter. This one is so cute ans very heavy. It is larger then most I have seen in regular kitchen stores but it's exactly what we needed. The reason I think this item works so well is because of how deep it is. When you go to grind large spices like peppercorns or the such, if the hole isn't deep enough, the spices will fly out. This one is perfect. It came with a silicone cover for the handle, but we find it unnecessary. The bottom has a sort of nonstick material so it won't slide when you are using it. This is defiantly worth the money.

I’m so glad I found this mortar and pestle! It really looks like a little pumpkin which is absolutely charming. It is well made, and the pestle has a little silicone grip (removable if u don’t want to use it). Very happy with purchase!

Great Buy. This was way more heavy duty than I expected. I was expecting to get something that looked a lot smaller than the product photo, but I was wrong. This will last me a long time.
