Bautiful faucets
Beautiful replacement faucets for my bathrooms. My plumber said they were easy to install. Good handle quality and water pressure. Easy to register them online for lifetime warranty.

Perfect for a fresh, modern look
The previous Moen faucet stated it was installed in 2020 by the past homeowner, yet it looked very dated, was difficult to keep clean, the finish was peeling, and the old pull up stopper wasn't functional. After living with it for six months, I decided enough was enough. This Moen Beric faucet is both modern, easy to use and surprisingly easy to install for a first-timer like myself. Took me about half an hour, but that time includes removing the old faucet which was covered in gunk, and checking for leaks after setting the new one in place. Love that it's spot resistant, included all the necessary hardware, and hoping the pop-up drain (albeit plastic) will last.

A Great Lookin Fixture but with some installation Cavets
This is a well designed faucet and drain assembly. The unit looks great and performs well. The installation is straight forward, but there are a few points not covered in the step-by-step installation instructions. If you want a water tight seal for your sink - and who doesn't - you are going to have to use some Plumbers Putty. Curiously this is mentioned on the packaging but not the instructions. Form two circular rings of the putty, one for the top of the sink outlet and one for the bottom. When you install the drain and tighten it in place, the putty will compress to form a seal. If in doubt how to do this, check out You Tube videos. If your sink is like mine, you will need a drain extension pipe that can be found on Amazon or at your hardware store. The extension pipe has an upper opening that allows the drain pipe to fit inside and a lower opening that must fit inside the J-tube trap of 1.5 inches. This configuration is essential so it may take a trip to the hardware store to make sure of the right configuration. One final note. Some have reviews have commented that the plastic drain pipe is cheap and that Moen should supply a metal one. I guess those folks have run into to many instances of plastic parts failing when used in the wrong application. In this case plastic is the better choice as it does not corrode. You will find that most traps are now made of plastic and your plumber will recommend it. In this regard, I had to replace the drain extension pipe for my sink as it was made of metal and had corroded so badly that it fell apart as I was disassembling the old drain.
