Effective Product!
This gently gets rid of my cat’s acne (which looks like small dark dots). My cat even enjoys when I put it on her with a cotton round- she must feel like I’m grooming her lol. Great and effective product!

Good stuff
This product is working very well on an injured kitten I took in. Very skinned & scratched eye & chin. Noticed improvement after 1st use. The patient is not cooperative, but the rinse is a champ.

Amazing product!
Worked like a charm! My cat had what looked like a puss filled acne on her lip. I thought it would go away on its own, but a week turned into a month turned into two or three months... I lost track because it wasn't getting worse, but it wasn't going away either. I honestly didn't realize that animals could get acne. I found this product, put it on her with a q-tip just once a day and the acne was gone within a week. I highly recommend it!!

This helped me find the real solution
This is tough. This product deserves my praise because it led me to what is actually healing my cat's chin acne, but this particular concentration and applicator is not so good. This barely seemed like it worked but it was better than the zero results from chlorhexidine so I kept at it. The black chin crud on my cat would appear each day, maybe slightly less, and squirting the bottle was very difficult since the liquid just wanted to pool on the surface of the cat's fur so I had to work it in with a toothbrush to get it next to the skin. Not pleasant, and only slight progress. I checked the label for ingredients and saw the .009% concentration of hypochlorous acid so I went looking for that but with a spray applicator as I was rapidly running out of this tiny bottle's contents, most of which was dribbling off instead of soaking in due to the terrible delivery system. (Try holding a squirming cat while squeezing a small bottle of liquid on its chin, and then quick, grab a toothbrush to gently work the area before it all runs onto the floor. Tough with only 2 hands.)In researching I found that hypochlorous acid is a common household disinfectant, safe for babies and pets, and I found that people even spray it directly on their faces to control human acne. Those brands have at least double the concentration in this pet variety, at least .018%, and the 'inactive ingredients' list is exactly the same, just water and salt (sodium chloride). WOW!I got some of another brand with a spray applicator which came in 8X the volume at double the concentration for the same price paid here. I chose a reputable brand that sells 'household disinfectant' and 'skin care' varieties of exactly the same product, the difference being a pretty label and 3 bucks. I saved the 3 bucks and went with the household variety.Just in the 2 days I have had the higher concentration spray the cat's acne is way better, the spray application is so fast and easy, and I am very grateful to have gotten on this path where nothing else seemed to work. Thank you to this product for showing me the way, it was worth buying even though it didn't fix my problem.I hope this review helps someone find out about the 'one cool trick' of buying the chemical in the right concentration and delivery system so their kitty can be healthy, even if another brand. I should call my vet to share this good news when they said there was nothing else to try after the chlorhexidine, perhaps they can recommend this pet and family-safe antimicrobial for their furry patients.

Works like a charm
I actually use a human version of this on my own face, so I already knew how gentle and effective it would be. My cat is susceptible to chin acne despite having clean bowls, only using stainless steel, etc. Recently it got pretty badly inflamed and I decided to try this stuff. It probably would’ve healed even faster had I been more consistent with applying, but she’s a baby about it. I put it on a cotton pad and gently wiped the area at night before bed. A few weeks later, and it's nearly gone.

This stuff works for Rodent ulcer
My cat gets rodent ulcer a lot and we've taken him to the doctor about four or five times and then he ends up having to get $100 steroid shot and he gets it pretty often and I wanna say every few months or so and I seen this on Amazon decide to give it a try And we did use it in conjunction with his prednislone pill but within a few days, we only put it on twice a day. It was already getting better, so I don't know if it's always gonna help but it sure helped this time and we didn't have to take him to the doctor.

Did not meet our needs but did no harm
Kitty has had recurring chin acne and we've done the standard prophylaxis measures, but recently one flareup got to the point of scabs so we thought we'd give this a try based on good reviews and being safe if she licked at it. Two treatments a day for 4-5 days or so. We did small swabs of folded toilet paper and eventually soaked folded paper towel held to her chin for 60 seconds. It had zero noticeable improvement, but notably also did not make anything get worse. We took her back to the vet who prescribed Mupirocin 2% and in 2 days she's all patched up. This product did not meet our needs (though it did no harm), so we'll leave you with the usual message of 'always be willing to see a vet' even though we understand it's much more convenient if things can be safely handled over the counter <3
