This is a great brush for applying chalk to whiten a show dog’s coat. The bristles are soft and hold powder very well. Chris Christensen products are always well made and very reliable.

I love the way this brush assists in applying white chalk to my dogs. It enhances their appearance, and really gets the chalk deep so it stays put.

Pretty happy with this brush. We use it on my Harl Great Danes nose at shows. She isn’t fond of us spraying chalk in her nose but using this brush to apply it she’s seemed to calm down quite a bit and appears to actually enjoy the bristles on her nose. It’s a softer bristle. No hard.

Have seen other dog handlers use this to apply powder/chalk to their dogs. It is expensive but it has nice soft bristles and that is important for facial areas.

I wasn't sure I should spend the $ on this little round brush to apply chalk...I mean, I have 100 brushes already. But I went ahead and got it...and like all of Chris Christensen products, this one does not disappoint. It worked better than expected!! Highly recommend. It makes chalking a breeze, and my dog didn't mind. It's very soft for their sensitive feet! So if in doubt, go ahead and order it. It will make your day like it made mine...and my dog's. And by the way....we won!
