I researched for the perfect fireplace for many months...I wanted one that did not look like a tv stand...this one is the perfect height which is the height of a real mantle and looks like a custom fireplace. I searched for almost a year trying to decide on a fireplace. I had this one and 2 others saved and had trouble deciding. I bought this one and it was the best decision ever! I put it together myself in about an hour! I am not a big person but I did it and it was not very difficult. The fireplace is big - which I wanted; the flame is so beautiful - not cheesy looking at all, the wood is heavy and design is perfect. My room is about 24 x 13 - it takes a long time for the temperature in the room to warm up - but I wanted it for décor more than a heating source. I could not be more happy with this fireplace - my suggestion is if you are debating on buying it - definitely buy it! The customer service is the best I have ever dealt with. I had a question regarding the price change and they fixed it INSTANTLY! Thank you Amazon and especially REAL FLAME!

Rating a 4 star as I've only had the fireplace for a week. That being said, I am very pleased so far. It was an easy assembly and i had no problem putting it together by myself. Took about an hour to put it together. It looks great in my living room. We really like the height if the mantle as well. Was pleasantly surprised by the distressing which gives it this piece a slightly used and older look. The flame box is working well so far and is easy to operate. Have not used the heat in it yet as it's summer but hoping it will provide that little extra warmth a fireplace can add to a room.

This is my first home that didn't have a fireplace. It took years to get this but I am so glad I finally did. I chose this one because it's grand and matches the crown molding. It was wasy to put together, it took my son maybe a hour or a little longer. The fireplace looks real like gas logs. Very pretty and realistic. I tried the different settings but will more than likely use no heat setting. I did not buy it for heat source.

I received the firebox without the mantle where is it!

Very attractive with very nice electric fireplace insert and many adjustments to fireplace display. It also has electric heat with temperature control. Very nice.

the product is really cheap for the money it cost

I love the fireplace! My only problem is I would like to direct the heat coming out of the fan. All the heat rises. It is very warm when you are in front of it.This can not be your only heat source in the winter.The flame is very nice looking and it was very easy to assemble per my husband.I would recommend!
