Excellent Customer Service
This product looks exactly as pictured in listing. I’d say I was only surprised by the quality of the cards, which are not card stock/board book-esque, but rather more like the cover of a magazine. I contacted seller about the cards being flimsy, but particularly that they were miss-cut and were missing a couple. Within 5 days I have a new set, with a complete set of cards, properly edged. The thickness is the same, but they’ll hold up. The weights (puppies) and numbers all work perfectly, and the cards are fine. I saw some comments about the math being incorrect— I originally thought I had the same problem, but noticed that ea side of a card is sequential only to that series (e.g. same color, and only picture of dogs, or only numbers or only math). It’s not supposed to flip over and have an “answer” on the back. My daughter is just shy of 2.5 yrs and after about 10 mins she grasped the concept and was having a blast. Yes, a blast... counting. Ha ha! Mostly watching the puppies “fly off” (re: fall over) when she took the weight from 10 to 1. It’s not going to last you through several kids, but def a few years of use, which is more than worth it. I bought a second set for a gift. Montessori toys are expensive, gotta find deals where you can!

Cute toy- not fir actual learning
Its cute but not even kind of close to being accurate at all. I get that it’s a toy but you can have a 6 balanced with 2. And the cards that come with it are just as bad. Ah example - one card says 6+3 and on the back the answer is 10. Another says 2+3 anx the answer on the back is 1

Cool but inaccurate description of what is included.
Only came with 19 dogs and one set of numbers 1-10. I picked this one because it was supposed to come with 2 of each number and 38 dogs according to the description.

Great for Building Number Sense
I wish I could purchase these for every kindergarten in my class. I highly recommend this for building number sense skills. I’m able to differentiate using just this one game in my math centers because it has number recognition to addition activities-with even more skill level embedded in each activity.

Good for teaching, worth the money
When we found out we had to homeschool I was at a creative block for what to use for my daughter's counting and math lessons. Having a special needs kid is never easy, and having to teach her on my own was a serious struggle. This thing is awesome. You get what you pay for so it does come apart but usually I my if your picking it up to store it or the kids get mad and throw it.The scales number to puppy weight matches perfectly for us, though I read a few that said it didn't for them. The cards are not sturdy, and are basically just printed on gloss paper but it would be easy to laminate them yourself.Overall I actually did reccommend this one to a friend, and will if anyone asks me for advice. I bought it for 12 dollars and it was worth that at least.

Broken after first use.
I bought this for my classroom to help with number recognition. in was thrilled with how it worked when it came in, but after allowing one child to play with it, it broke. The children was right next to me not mistreating or misusing the item. I am very upset. I tried to find a way to contact the company and can not find it. I am very frustrated.

Bought for a good deal
I like this toy, however the balancing is a little off. I find it to be educational. My daughter (2) still has trouble understanding the concept of balance and weighing. She will get it in no time.
