Have to use more but it's worth it...
I try to consume gelatin on a regular basis because i can see the difference it makes in my skin, flexibility, hormonal balance, and metabolism. The only thing I dislike is that it also makes my hair grow faster (I find this annoying). I either eat at least 2 tbs of it as gelatin or use the powdered collagen hydrolysate version in drinks (sometimes both).I've tried other brands of gelatin and I think out of all if them (Great Lakes, Bernard Jensen, Knox etc) I prefer this one due to lack of smell (this is a big selling point for me), taste and ease of dissolving it--not to mention I really like that this brand is certified and from pastured cows. I guess I just trust this brand more than Great Lakes and it's slightly cheaper anyways, so I'll probably keep buying it (FYI they will send you a 25% off coupon if you wait to write a review). It seems worth mentioning though, that you should pay attention to the serving size if you're using it in recipes (depending on what brand you're used to using it might be different).I think this stuff is ground down a lot finer than I'm used to because i have to use more of it to gel stuff. But then again, if you're used to using Great Lakes, you might not notice any difference in performance between this stuff or theirs depending on the last time you bought Great Lakes, because it would seem that Great Lakes has started grinding their stuff down too. GL's nutritional info used to show double the protein and calories as this brand and their label used to state that 1 tablespoon gelled 2 cups of liquid but over the past year that statement and the nutritional info has mysteriously changed and now matches this brand's exactly, so you'd probably have to use more of their gelatin in recipes too.

Easy to use
Every time I have coffee left overs, I make coffee jelly. It’s easy to dissolve and you can make protein rich dessert in your fridge all the time.

Great! But not that dissolvable
This is the only gelatin I have tried so I can't compare to other brands like Great Lakes, etc.The reason for four stars instead of 5 is because it was not dissolvable in water. I may have put too much in the water (1 tablespoon as it says for the serving size in a small glass of water) but it gelled up and my water was room temperature/cold. I bought this because I thought it would dissolve and be easy to drink for myself and my boyfriend daily. But alas I had to do something different so I decided to make jello! It is fool-proof and SO easy to make jello with this gelatin. Here is my recipe:2 cups of room temp juice mixed with 8 tablespoons of gelatin (Yes, this is quite a lot but I wanted it packed with gelatin so I can eat less jello each day). While mixing the gelatin I heat up 2 more cups of the same juice and then pour the hot (but not boiling) juice into the juice/gelatin mixture until all of the gelatin is completely dissolved. Store in the fridge until firm and then cut into 16 pieces. I eat one piece a day on an empty stomach for HGH production and have my bf eat 1 piece after a meal for stomach/gut issues and for more collagen.I do notice a somewhat different taste to the gelatin but it might be because I load it up with so much gelatin. Others have mentioned a somewhat beefy taste and while I can't pinpoint if it's "beefy" exactly it's definitely a different taste to the jello but it doesn't bother me nor my boyfriend.Benefits I take gelatin for:skinhairnailsirritated stomach lining (ulcer-like symptoms)increased collagen for wrinkles and sagging skinHGHIt hasn't been long enough to say much about all of these. I also take glutamine for my stomach which has helped heal me tremendously fast. My skin has improved in the last week and a half that I have been taking it. I get more compliments on my skin when I take collagen supplements (gelatin is similar). I was taking collagen tablets before but needed to take 6 a day which was hard and expensive. Hair and nails- can't tell a difference yet. Boyfriend's jawline seems to be firming up. He is 26, white with poor aging genes but he is fit and in shape. His jawline seems less defined because of sagging skin (not fat) so I have him wash his neck with an AHA cleanser (Aqua Glycolic) and apply a retinoid lotion to his neck. All in all, this stuff is great and I will be purchasing again!

This product soared way above my expectations!
This is one of those rare products that I simply cannot say enough good things about. I began taking it (2 Tbsp per day) six weeks ago because of a couple of recommendations by members of my online health/fitness group. But I had no idea what would happen next! The healing process in my gut was so profound that first my GERD symptoms stopped (I had refused to take medication for it due to the long terms effects of those medications and was working with diet modifications) and then my sleep apnea (which was mild but pronounced enough that I was planning a sleep study) stopped! I can sleep on my back with no snoring and my husband says he has not heard me snore at all in weeks. This past week I have also started to notice a difference in the quality of my fingernails, which are much harder. I told my group, which is amazing and well educated group of women in their 60s, that if in the two years I have been with them I had found this product alone, the time with them would have been worth it (though it truth they have turned me on to many more positive things!!). Taking the bone marrow made so much sense to me that I also started giving it to my dogs. One is 13 years old and has a little arthritis and one has contact dermatitis secondary to allergies. I feed them organically and make their food. I have noticed a significant improvement in the little ones skin allergies, though I am not going to completely attribute that to the gelatin because I also started a dip for his skin about a month ago. After steroids and antibiotics from the vet, both of which I did not want him to take, he is now doing much better with the gelatin and wash. This is a great product and I HIGHLY recommend it!
