This device meets, even excels, requirement.
Cards on table; YOCTOSUN is a company that I am not familiar with and I was concerned that the LED Head Magnifier might be a cheap 'knock off' of another product. I went ahead with purchase after reading reviews and have not been disapointed. The magnifier, straight out of the box, reeks of quality. The device, on the whole, appears very strongly constructed.I'll start with the 'lenses' that appear to be very tough and magnify very well - although I do not have the specialist equipment to varify each lens as to magnification I can say each one 'steps up' magnification from previous very well. The lenses are very clear and are very easy to 'swap out'.On to the headset! There are two ways to wear the set; like normal glasses or with the clip on elasticated strap. For me the strap is entire optionl! I have tried the strap and it is very comfortable in use but the fitted 'arms' are really comfy and well fitted for me and I prefer them. The only minus concerning the strap and arms is actually a plus! When fitted [take off by pressing in fixing catch and sliding fitting out] both the strap and the arms are very tightly fixed. This makes changing between arms and strap a little awkward but also means the fitted item is excellently fixed in place. The headset has a pivot point that allows the whole lens assembly to move 'up and down', the lens holder has a pivot point to allow th lens to be put to the desired viewing angle and the lens holder can slide in towards the face or out to further adjust viewing requirement. The lenses are easily changed, snap securely into place, hold firmly and remove easily by user. There is also a light with two brightness settings that are easily accessed by a single button press [off, on, very bright in a cycle]. The light is part of the pivoted assembly and also has its own pivot point to adjust angle as needed. There is only a little more to cover. The device is very light to wear - much more so than other similar, bulkier devices. The 'bridge' that holds the magnifier at the bridge of the nose is very comfortable too. If you do not normally wear glasses it will take some getting used to wearing this device. Those that already do wear glasses can wear both the glasses and this device at the same time if needed - will take some getting used to but I can report it is totally 'doable' and the sliding nature of lens fitment helps a lot.Charging the device is very easy! The included charge cable is a bit short but perfect for the job and fits to the device with micro usb then into laptop / PC / standard USB charger / battery pack via standard USB A.I bought the YOCTOSUN LED Head Magnifier specifically for when model making but have also used it when reading to great affect. The magnifier has, so far, excelled in use. And the price point is brilliant. I do not often write such a glowing review but feel the device deserves it.I can also report that the device was delivered the next day as wanted and was well enough packed. I would use this manufacturer and seller again if needed.

Brilliant for close work
I've tried out loads of magnifying lamps to help me with my sewing and knitting and have returned them all. These magnifying glasses are far superior to the lamps in my opinion. It's so easy to get them in the right position for use and there are different magnifications to choose from. I use mine with the headband attached and find them comfortable. Everything is adjustable, so you can point the light where needed as well as moving the glasses up out of your eyeline without taking them off. I found that the lamps made me dizzy as my eyes adjusted, but these glasses don't. It's much easier to find the correct focal distance with the glasses. I haven't been using them for long, so I can't speak for their longevity but I would definitely buy more if they break. They have been a godsend!

Decent magnifier for short periods
The variety of lenses is pretty useful; they have different magnification but all focus fairly close-up.It's easy to adjust the angle and distance of the lens thanks to the articulation in the lens arm. Swapping lenses is dead easy, just pull it out and pop another one in. The box for the lenses is really nice to have and keeps them from invariably getting left on the workbench and scratched up.The elastic headband is a nice option to have and I find it comfier than the "glasses frame" style. The front isn't super lightweight, and while the nose pieces are adjustable (they just bend), you do notice the weight after a while. It's certainly OK for occasional use for an hour or so, but I wouldn't want it on much longer without a decent break, or particularly frequently.I've not had to rely on the LED light yet. It doesn't seem to be super bright, but it does have two levels and being USB rechargeable is great.

They work!
Bought these magnifying glasses for my husband who has macular degeneration in both eyes, practically blind in one eye and has difficulty seeing anything close up with the other. Because of this he never does any close up work, hobbies or crafty things. Wearing these magnifiers he can actually see close up, we're both so excited about it, complete game changer! The lenses are easy to change by simply clipping them in and out and as there are 5 strengths to choose from you can use the one best suited to yourself, we swapped the legs for the headband as it's more comfortable for him too. There is also a built in rechargeable light on the front of the headset which is a bonus. He can also wear his normal glasses with the headset as the magnifying lense has the ability to flip up out of the way when not being used.Whoever invented these should get a medal, an absolute game changer that's really cheered him up.I would definitely recommend these to anyone that has sight issues that does close up work, or anyone for that matter that does a lot of close up work.
