I buy the product for Christmas decorations. The plug to the outlet it’s super fine, it broken very easy and quickly. If you have kids, it’s very difficult to last longer. I buy the item two times and it doesn’t last.

I don't have a external electric socket on my patio so I've had to revert to using alternative energy lights. The last LED lights I had were battery operated. The lights (and the battery encasing) were weather proof but after 4 years of Maryland weather they still rusted out. I was on the fence on if I wanted to buy solar lights because I've had limited luck with them...These are the best LED string lights, in general, I've ever bought. They are very bright and very workable. Also, even thought they are solar, the solar battery on these lights are fantastic! The lights pop on when nightfall hits and stay on with the same bright intensity until the sun comes up; and, it hasn't been all that consistently sunny in MD as of yet. We've had a few very sunny days but mostly cloudy and these lights are working fantastically. I originally bought just one set but I was so impressed I bought a second.The lights have several settings and I've played with them all. There is a flashing setting that may kick off seizures if you or someone you know suffers from seizures, so beware of that setting (I can't remember which one it was) but there's also a nice twinkling setting, a slow pulsing setting, a standard setting, and a setting that rotates through all of them.One con (if you want to call it a con) is that they only come on when the sun actually goes down. So if you want them to come on around dusk (for a party or a wedding) you will have to cover the solar thermal collector in order to trigger the lights to pop on.

These are great products for putting lights around your mailbox or your outdoor wreaths when you don't have a direct power source.The solar battery seems to give it enough light for about 8 to 10 hours. The fact that it is powered by the sun and doesn't turn on until nightfall makes these extremely convenient and portable. They are essentially a one season light. The copper wiring is somewhat fragile and if you have hopes of spooling it up and using it again for the next season, the time taken to carefully wrap this thin and flexible and easily kinked wire may be greater than any money saved.My only negative on these products is that it's extremely hard to wrap these long flexible copper wires around a intricate outdoor display with lots of curves and small spaces. Given that these are relatively inexpensive, are solar powered, and produce a very nice warm light, it's somewhat worth the aggravation of installation.The ability to change the flashes is really nice. You can get a twinkle effect, a steady on, or a moving light effect.It is amazing how inexpensive these products are and give such a nice effect.

Okay, this is a good product. I built a wooden swing for my wife. I placed these lights inside the cup holders in the swing as you can see from the picture. I didn't do anything special about stringing them up because it's not Christmas time and have a Christmas kind of look when strung out. The lights are connected with a thin silver wire. You have to unwind and wind them very carefully to avoid kinking. I simply kept mine in a bundle and inserted them in the cup holder. The cup holder is open on the bottom side facing the yard. They look great and stay lit from dusk to dawn. They're bright and a pleasant slightly yellowish glow.. I plan to get more of these Before Christmas time because they are very useful lights. Glad I bought them. I was surprised how small the box was that they came in.Please note in the two photos at night they are in the cup holders. There is a separate solar flood light that puts light on the whole swing. The flood light doesn't last all night long and is out before dawn, but these lights stay bright right till dawn.

These curtain fairy lights are Awesome!! The lights are embedded in the copper strands which is better than other brands I was considering. I got the warm color & pulled them away from my wall a few inches for a more crisp background. These lights have 8 modes that you can change on the actual usb (that plugs into the wall adapter). Just press the button for the different modes (and 8 times for off). Instructions say only 6 modes on the usb & 8 on the remote but my usb has all 8 so yay! The remote is ehh.The following info is all about the remote.... I originally thought it didn't work but then I realized you have to be close to the usb plugged into the wall or in view of it for full functionality. It turns on easily but changing modes or turning off is a little harder. If changing the mode doesn't work on 1st try, first press the on button immediately before the number button for the mode you wish. Sometimes clicking off 2 times will turn it off if you are not in direct view of the usb. And yes I even tried a brand new battery so that wasn't it. The remote just sucks. But it does actually work so don't just toss it.

I used these curtains as a back drop for a glow party and it was a huge hit. The lights were bright enough on the mid setting but they were pushed to the high setting in some of the pictures. Either way, no flash was ever used that I saw and a lot of the pictures came out great. That did depend on people's phones though. All we used was a sheer curtain and placed these directly behind it. We used just a basic curtain rod and these hooked on with no problems. Even with people hitting the curtain while taking pictures, the lights never fell off. Easy to set up and even take down. After the party, we installed these in our daughter's room and she absolutely loves them. They do add a little light near her window which is what we were going for.
