Vosene Kids Lice Repellent 3 in 1 Shampoo, 250ml

Great shampoo, can't go wrong with Vosene products for kids - I've always used the swim shampoo which removes chlorine build-up excellently and thought I'd try this as an alternative to the other lice-repelling shampoo I've been buying, which stinks! This one doesn't smell awful and lathers up really nicely, also not having to condition as well is a bonus. No more headlice on the kids yet so far so hopefully it works too.

Should be automatically issued to all children by governments.We get headline warnings home most weeks but I am confident that using this and the complimentary detangling spray is a major factor in my girls staying lice free.I live in Portugal so have to order it here/by ASDA but would definitely recommend they look into exporting to more countries... Would help a lot of people... Two fold here as I think the Citronella helps keeps the Mosquitos at bay too!

Worked well with the repellent spray - got rid of the residents in my sons hair!

I'm only giving this product 4 stars because I'm using it with NitWits Natural Lice Prevention and Detangling Spray, therefore I can't say for definite how well it would work by itself. I bought this upon recommendation of a friend who uses it on her daughter with good results. I have found that when used with the NitWits spray, although my daughter has come home with eggs in her hair, the eggs were dead and she never developed the dreaded nits nor had any lice. We've been doing this prevention combo now for about a month. I don't always remember to use the spray when I plait her hair each morning, so I would say that the product does what it says, at least on my daughter's hair.We'd been using Full Marks to get rid of nits and eggs, and while that seemed to work okay at eradicating the little beasties, it did nothing for prevention and it was difficult to wash all the oily residue out. My daughter was coming home every 3-6 weeks with live eggs and nits. I washed all her bedding each time and decontaminated her brush and hair bobbles. To no avail and since her younger brother has been nit/egg free we can only presume that someone in the class has a carer/parent that is not doing what they should to break the cycle.My daughter has very long hair - the Vosene 3 in 1 works well on it leaving her clean and easy to brush through. The smell is pleasant provided you like the scent of tea tree oil. As prevention for my daughter Vosene seems to work as intended when used in combination with a nit repellent spray like NitWits.My son starts reception at the same school in September...I have been and will continue to use Vosene for him as well (though without the spray because he has not had any infestations) so if he stays nit free then I'll update my review and give it 5 stars.

This shampoo leaves my daughter's long hair in great condition with no tangles. It smells nice and lathers up well.

This product does what it say, have had no recurrence of lice and I only wash the boys hair with it once a week & then we use the conditioning spray

Have no idea if it actually prevents head lice but we havent had any yet. Makes hair very soft and smells ok.

I love this product to use on my kids during school time as it is lice repellent I regularly buy it and will continue to do so, definitely recommend.
