It was very easy to put together and amazing quality for the price. I needed a study lamp and this works perfectly well for that purpose. Looks really nice in the space! Would definitely recommend to give this a shot!

I needed a light for close guitar work, done, work bench soldering work, done. And a third light on the breakfast nook, it's used for wife's crossword puzzles, reading light and finally the low setting is a perfect night light. Warning! it has a USB connector. fortunately I've got one on the indoor guitar bench. also the same power strip for the amp bench in the garage and in the breakfast nook also, too.

This task lamp filled my needs for a utility light fixture for a work area. Good value and one can use the LED lamp of choice or brightness and color temperature. The big negative is my lamp did not have dimples on the lamp body that the indented grooves on the shade would match to secure it. As a result the shade kept falling off only retained by the light bulb, not great! I fixed mine with a drilled hole and setscrew rather than spend time sending it back and waiting for a replacement. I hope this was a manufacturing oversight and not a real part of the design.

If you put these on a shelf over a desk, etc, the cord wont't reach the wall outlet. Instead of the switch ON THE LAMP, it is 1/2 way up the cord...difficult to find.Lamp clamps nicely, did not use the weightd base.

my lamp is all plastic, even the clamp. i bought it to use with a small movable computer table so the lighter plastic is actually better for me. also the 'power outlet' plugs into your computer not an electrical outlet; also a surprise, but better for my movable computer set up. the other difference is theres no light bulb, but a panel screwed over led lights. they look great and are able to be dimmed, but not to my knowledge able to be replaced.....so disposable lamp? i will be sad when they burn out it is perfect for my set up. (looking back i ordered the 'wrong' one - i looked at so many - so i shouldn't have been surprised but still very happy that i ended up with this one.)!

Well, Amazon says a review should answer the questions "What did you like or dislike? What did you use this item for?"I used six of them for a six-armed mannequin that's part of an art installation. The heads come off real easy. Cut the wire at either end and it pulls right out. The two-screw-hole end of the arm can be bolted to all sorts of things: leftover mannequin hands, cutlery, a Jacob's ladder, the sky's the limit.Neither the base nor the little clamps are any use attaching these things to a shoulder. You have to mold or carve something with strong set-screws.

Had nothing but trouble from th beginning with inconsistency of being able turning light on . As time passed it became more difficult and now it is completely dis-functional!

I have a Silcada tortoise and needed three lamps that were basically indestructible..these three are table lamps and sit with the lamp extended above his complex..two for heat and one for sunlight. They are perfect and the price was great.

This is perfect for over my 3 gallon shrimp tank which I use with 6500k daylight bulb. Excellent flexibility and the swivel helps me position it perfectly. Base is heavy and very stable.

The lamp seems well-designed, looks good and does what it is supposed to do. Some reviews that I read before buying cast doubt on the connection between lampshade and lamp, but I find it to be quite sound - perhaps they did not realise that the shade should be twisted into place, not simply pushed. The base of the lamp has a weight/footprint that does not stabilize highly tilted lamp positions, but these are not likely to be needed in normal use. Otherwise, there is a bracket for securing the lamp to the desk edge. The lamp is a good buy for use on a desk, and I could see myself buying another, but is perhaps a bit too restricted in movement for the most demanding applications, such as with engineering drawings, maps etc. on a large board.

Does everything I expect a desk lamp to do. Good quality for the price.

It needs something to make the light stay where you want it. The tightener does not do the job.But other than that ,it works good.
