Must have grooming tool
Great tool for blending hair when grooming my chihuahua. She is short haired, but has some thick hair on her neck that can stick straight up. These scissors are sharp and cut hair easily. One side has no teeth and you can safely slide under the hair with that side. They can be used to thin out hair too, without making it looking chopped.

Cat coat trimming the easy way
I use these on my long coated cat. She gets matted so thinning out her coat is best for us both. It doesn’t hurt her. It’s a good quality scissor for the money spent. The size is perfect for close up trimming. The finger holes are best for a woman’s medium size hands.

Works
I had a different pair that came with a pack of different size scissors but those did not work at all. These really work great. My only complaint is they stick a little bit when trying to open them. But I will take it in order to have a product that WORKS!They really help make the haircut look so much better. I got compliments and I’m I’m far from a groomer but took my time and watched some you tube videos. These scissors around the head and face really make a world of difference and then they help even the rest of the haircut as well!I do just wish the didn’t stick together but for how well they cut the hair and price it’s worth it.

An excellent resource for grooming our Aussiedoodle!
We have an Aussiedoodle whose fur knots into small bundles if we don’t comb her regularly. We do our best to keep up with grooming, but sometimes we fall behind, and the knots accumulate. Because her fur grows continuously, she must visit a groomer several times a year. However, if we bring her to the groomer with many knots, they insist on shaving off her entire coat because it would take too long to untangle them. This happened to us once, and we quickly learned our lesson. An Aussiedoodle without any fur is quite a sight.I remembered my barber using thinning shears to remove sections of my thick hair. Because of this, I decided to purchase these thinning shears for our dog. Whenever our Aussiedoodle gets knots in her fur, we use these shears to carefully trim the tangles while preserving most of her surrounding coat so there is no significant gap. These shears are lightweight and durable and work as effectively as my barber's. The blade end is blunt, which is a good safety feature. Since we started using the thinning shears, her groomer has never rejected her!The picture shows our knotless Aussiedoodle.

Adequate and worth what I paid
THese thinning sheers are adequate and worth the money I paid for them. I understand from groomers that you sorta get what you pay for when it comes to pet grooming scissors and my experience with these sheers seems in line with that advise. They do work to cut my Coton de Tulare's puppy's hair. But they are not very sharp so you have to sort of repeatedly chomp at the hair you want to trim and that gives a less than ideal look to the cuts I am making. It ends up looking like I chopped away at his hair in spots. But they do work and if I go over a spot a few times I can smooth out the look of the hair I'm cutting so they work and they do give a thinning "fringe " look to the dog hair so that he doesn't look like his fur was cut bluntly with regular sissors.

Good for getting g out matted hair on long-haired dogs.
Great thinning shears for getting rid of matted hair on a Cavalier King Charles Spamiel.

Great for my hair too
These work really well for cutting my hair. I never used them on an animal, but they are nice and sharp. I had a hard time finding any that were sharp enough and decided to try this. I am surprised how good the quality is for the price. They are not as precise and some, but I just go back over the spot again. They are comfortable to use too. I will definitely buy them again.

Hard Pass
Don't bother, if you want a product like this, purchase professional products. These are NOT sharp enough to cut, nor do they cut in the way they are supposed to. Hard Pass on these. Trust me.
