Works perfectly. It’s a heat pad. It heats up.

Ordered this for my GALS and it's ideal. It's not self adhesive but I've used some blue tak to fix it to the terranium. The temperature control is a bit hap hazard but once you get it to the right temp you're good to go. I wouldn't use it if you need to adjust the temp too often though.

I am not sure this product achieves very much heat for my pet snail, as it doesn't have a noticeable effect on him in winter - he still hides a lot as though he is cold. However the product is robust and easy to use. I can feel it heat up well and have not had any issues with it.

Stuck to outside of a wooden chiuahua welping box with lid,small 5w one, heats v v fast, warms the wood side up to make it cosy for the pups( didnt need it to do a lot as its inside anyway,but it works well ..only niggle is no markings on the heater control so i had to put some on to ensure it doesnt move

Spot on. My heat may broke before xmas i was desperate. Easy to fit and I have one happy bearded dragon. Small watts but gives off enough heat.

Bought this as an under-tank mat for an acrylic water tank.The mat is designed for reptiles but is suitable for invertebrates too. Don't get the mat wet or it could be damaged.In the past, I've used mats with similar technology when I kept cockroaches and a millipede.It keeps my triops alive and warm at around 21C. If the tank covered the mat entirely, it would be warmer. I am going to buy them a larger tank.Very good mat for the value - it's a shame the dial isn't specific about temperature- but in the end, you get what you pay for.
