I love this butter dish. It’s so pretty I decided to use it as a candy dish instead! It hold a whole pack of the had candies you can buy at any store.Prior to converting to a candy dish - I was using for butter. It kept the butter nice and fresh and I could put 4 sticks in together.:)

I'm disappointed that the lid will not stay on tight and it is uneven. Being higher a little on one side more than the other. Yes, I am using the silicone seal. But like in your ad......it comes off easily when you turn it upside down and move it slightly. Otherwise it does have some dents to on one of the bottom corners. It is pretty though. I did not decide to return it because I didn't want to be "that person" and make more work for everyone with what's going on with the pandemic. It works and is for daily use.

The wooden lid had rough spots, like the finish hadn’t dried thoroughly and something got put on it. I could sand it, but then that section of the finish would be different from the rest. Very poor quality control.

The dish is nice with a thick walls and quite a bit of heft to it. Its can easily hold 2 sticks of butter or one stick of kerrygold butter. The lid is made of wood and its pretty airtight. Overall nice addition to the kitchen storage items.

Butter dish is deep. Not much concern about the top getting into the butter, as with the shallow dishes.The top is a nice light oak color. Very sturdy. Versatile for any use.

I really like the container and the top which would close it since I leave my butter out. After only a month, top no longer stays down. I have to put something on it to keep the top for popping up. Oh well another disappointment.

This holds two cubes of butter. Doesn't slide around like flat dish butter dishes.

Great oversized dish. Four sticks fit easily and I can also cram the roll butter I use into it with little effort. Thickness makes it well insulated. Dropped it once and it did not break. Lid fits securly.
