Rodney Carrington: Live at the Majestic

I am completely satisfied with my purchase of this video of Rodney C. It is the complete show! Worth buying, and a great way to entertain your quests! I ended up buying a second one to send to my brother-in-law who could listen to it; he wasn't able to "see" it, due to becoming blind. He enjoyed it, and said he laughed all through it! Worth purchasing!

We were at the venue for the filming of this DVD, and I've got to say, he put on one heck of a show. The best thing about Rodney is that he's always fresh. He very rarely uses his old bit, so each time you see him, you're in for surprises, and this one was no exception.But it seems that he has taken a bit more of a conservative path since his show on ABC. If you've heard his old albums (Laugh You [...] and Morning Wood), you will probably agree that this is a bit on the "light" side.Just about anything that comes out of Rodney's mouth is hilarious, but I personally came to love the guy for his complete lack of respect for anyone or anything. While "Live at the Majestic" and "King of the Mountains" (they are both from the same show) are both well-produced and extremely entertaining, they lack the level of insult that made him famous.

I bought this video having never seen Rodney Carrington's stand-up routine before, and I can honestly say I've never laughed this hard at one comic in my life.To me, his songs make the DVD. He has a clever way of making you believe the song is going to be serious and then suddenly, one hilarious line changes the tune, i.e., Show Them to Me.If you buy this DVD, be sure to watch the special features which offers a behind-the-scenes look at Rodney and his creative process. He does finally get serious with one song at the very end of the special features section. It will really make you think about the ones you love.All-in-all, a DVD you can watch over and over again when you just need to laugh.

This is the best adult humor I have found without being just dirty.Full of sexual jokles, this is one very funny guy. We watched this as a family (3 kids 18,18,19 grandma 70+ and my wife and I late 40s)and even the most sexual topics we all laughed at together. The music was the best. Only guy I know that could write a song to get women to show him their boobs. This was great fun!

Live at the Majestic was Rodney Carrington's best work.It is a bit naughty and inappropriate so if you are easily offended then it is not for you.

Any time you need a good laugh this is the movie to give it to you. Rodney is a nut and is goofy as can be. I enjoy watching him goof around on the stage. I would not recommend that children watch this move however because of the things he talks about and a few other things in the movie. However for the adult that wants to just sit back relax and have a good laugh, this is the show for you.

The dvd is great. New.. and arrived when they said it would.

My husband and I absolutely loved Rodney's dvd!! It is hilarious. My daughter has purchased it also. I have shared it with many friends and everyone just loves it. It is an adult show, not for little children. It is just great!!! We love Rodney and are waiting for the next dvd by him! The quality of the dvd was good and as always purchasing it threw amazon was quick and a deal!
