This book is not for people starting with sprinkler calculations, you need previous knowledge about pipe sizing and sprinkler system design. It is for the engineer who wants to know more about the topic.It doesn’t help at all that the book has several revision mistakes. For example, in page 107 the author makes references to tables VII, VIII, IX and X, but in this edition, those tables were renamed to A.7, A.8, A.9 and A.10. References to Appendix C are mistaken (it’s now Appendix E). The author sometimes references to “the table in Appendix A”, but there are several tables in this Appendix.Finally, my book came with a loosen page.For a book published by Springer, I expected more.
