Warm and wonderful wool!
Great quality and very warm wool. My mom knitted my two year old's sweater and hat with it and it looks great and gets lots of compliments. Love it and look forward to buying in more colors!

Pretty colors, and good wool.
This is a great wool for pretty much whatever you want. I used it for a diaper cover, and it came out nice and has washed well.

Beautiful yarn.
This is just what I wanted. I can't wait to knit up a hat with it.

HORRIBLE
When I first learned how to crochet yarn was cheap since that time the price has risen for a number of reason. I never expected the price to escalate to what it is now. Paying such an exhorbant price I never thought that I would have to constantly cut knots aloose and reattach them.

Not Merino
It's fine and a fun color combo to work with but it should not be advertised as merino, a more expensive wool. The Paton's label is the same as their classic wool series and does not claim to be merino anywhere on the label.

I have been using Patons wool successfully for felting projects ...
I have been using Patons wool successfully for felting projects over the past few years. Recently though I have been getting the orange and gold label that is Patons Classic Wool Worsted. It does not give the same felting success rate as the Classic Merano. I now have to put my project through the wash at least 1 and a half times instead of just once as before. I wonder if they are using a different process under this label.

Good yarn, as advertised
This is good quality yarn, all wool. I used it to make felted dryer balls to dry clothes faster in the dryer.
