This product is a perfect keyboard replacement for the keyboard that ships with the Dell Precision 7510. This high-end Intel 6th generation laptop doesn't come with a backlit keyboard. Upon arrival, I was able to easily replace the existing keyboard with this product, and it works perfectly. Once installed, the Keyboard Illumination option will appear under the System Configuration section in the notebook's BIOS, where you can control its brightness. The new keyboard looks and feels like the original, with the added option to toggle backlighting with the F10 key. If you're looking to add backlighting to your keyboard in this laptop, I highly recommend getting this to replace your existing keyboard.

The replacement keyboard functions properly on the Dell Precision 7520. However, the keyboard thickness is measurably thinner that the OEM keyboard. This made the frame of the keyboard interfere with typing strokes. Also, the keyboard uses a different spring design under each key so it feels a little flat and less responsive than OEM. I returned it and bought a used OEM keyboard instead and am much happier with the performance.

The keyboard arrived, however the brown box alarmed me when it said "No Backlight" on the label. I checked the cables and saw that it did have the extra backlight cable included, so I then proceeded to install it. It installed without issue and lit right up. Works great.Thanks for providing a good quality product.

Replaced a client Dell with this, it was backlit and worked great. The old OEM keyboard has sticking ctrl keys. Saved the client a cost of a new laptop.
