We were looking for a phone that my father in law could hopefully get the hang of in his care home. Hand held mobiles are now beyond him at 98. After extensive research I found this wonderful phone on Amazon. What an amazing product. I can’t praise it enough and my father in law is having no problem using it at all, especially as I have programmed in the family’s numbers (up to 9 contacts) and all he has to do is press the relevant number for a second and it rings the person he wants to speak to, so simple and he is thrilled he has contact with the outside world again.It is well made , I was expecting it to look cheap for the price, but it looks lovely and seems a very robust phone. I got a cheap PAYG SIM card that works on 2,3 and 4G networks and it works perfectly. Slide the sim in carefully gold side down and then back a little way and off you go. The signal is brilliant, much better than my mobile when I’m in the same room as him.All in all, it’s the only one on the market like this (that I could find anyway), it’s brilliant, does a good job and I don’t hesitate to recommend it. Would give it 20 stars if I could.

I wouldn't give any stars, had the worst experiance with orders from this seller. I ordered this product for my grandmother twice, first time the unit was not affixed adequately and the charger didn't work, second time the charger what totally useless as it was also affixed incorrectly. When I tried to communicate to the seller regarding an exchange for one that is working they refused and requested I go via the refund route in amazon, I would have thought they would happily provide a proper working replacement however both orders were terrible. In the end I resorted to getting my grandmother a tablet.

I hunted for a phone like this for months, reviewing literally hundreds of phones specks. I only found one other but it was a hundred pounds more expensive and six weeks shipping to the UK.I bought this phone for a 91 year old when she moved into a nursing home. She needed a mobile phone as she couldn’t get a land line phone in her room.I needed something that was a mobile but looked like a big button phone she had at home. This looks perfect and works like an ordinary telephone. It used a 2g sim which is difficult to buy but I got one in local phone shop in 2021 so still available. Just don’t expect your 3G or 4g sim to work.

A great idea , at a good price ,only thing i thought could have been made easier is sms not so easy to type, 2nd would have been nice if the keys lit up aswell as the screen, 3rd to find a easier way of putting the sim card. WOW It was a mission, but you want a studio desktop mobile, defo buy it i love it. fast delivery also ..

Bought this for an elderly relative who has moved into a home. It took a bit of fiddling to get the SIM to work as you have to slide it in and then back on itself. It is lightweight so you may need to find some way to stop the base sliding around but on the other hand the handset being light is ideal.Having a wired handset that you can just pick up to answer the calls is good or you can just push a button on the top to answer by speaker phone. Dialing out takes an additional step as you have to dial the number and push a button on the top to make it dial but not a major issue.Overall from first impressions all looks good and hopefully the 2g network will continue to work on TalkTalk as long as it is needed.

Got this for 87yr old who couldn't understand charging mobile phone so my wife was constantly panicking when no answer or straight to voicemail.Paired it with £4 unlimited talk and text and it is used as a old landline no more it's the phone broken.

The telephone hangs up call when placed on loud speaker. Beeps constantly when charging.

If you have a Broadband only service and just use your mobile phones this is a great option to have, Just like an old style house phone , Great for emergencies so kids and the elderly can call 999 – or keep an eye on your kids when they are on the phoneJust put in a sim card and it works out the box
