I hang two scentsicles in my artificial Christmas tree each season, and the scent lasts at least a couple months. When I put my tree away, I keep the two scentsicles with the tree, and, the scent is still present when I put the tree up the next year. One container will last several years; however, the scentsicles seem harder and harder to find.

These are terrific but VERY powerful! I found that hanging 2 sticks on my 6' xmas tree was more than enough. WAY more! Since I had a lot leftover in the jar (you get more than you need) I broke a stick in half and hid one in my powder room and one in the entry, tucked into some dried pine cones. Everyone commented on how wonderful my house smelled. Subtle and festive. You get a lot of sticks in this jar, so you will have plenty left over if you use them sparingly. The scent lasts.

Seriously, these little scented sticks do smell like Christmas! I ordered White Winter Fir - and that was what was on the outer bag label - but the scent was Christmas Berry instead. Having said that, I like this smell, so won't be returning them. I've read some of the negative reviews and didn't encounter the problems mentioned. There was no liquid oil in the bottom of either container and my sticks don't appear to be dry. All of the sticks are a nice dark green and none are broken. Each stick is 5" long and has a hole through it at one end for your ornament hook. I hung it behind a few bulbs and it is really hard to see. The smell is very nice but I'll put more on the tree just before my party so I get that extra boost of Christmas in the air! I also like another reviewer's suggestion to hang one in my car!I did take off one star as I didn't get the correct scent even though I like it.

Really nice, festive scents!! Very strong, meaning that you just need like two or three for the whole tree or garland. Otherwise, the smell could be overwhelming.

I have frequently purchased this brand from Walmart in different scents in the past and have had great luck. The scent is strong, however doesn't last too long. The metal hangers are convenient to tuck away wherever you want to use.The reason for the 3 stars is because when I opened the container the envelope at the bottom of the container for the hangers was filled with heavily scented oil that had spilled all over bottom of container. The oil stains are difficult to get out as well as the smell, so beware. I contacted their customer service and there was no recourse or concern. They acknowledged the issue has happened in the past with many customers and that is all they had to sat other than contact amazon and amazon.

This works great. Easy to apply. Makes your artificial tree more realistic. If it's too strong for your preference you can hang less on your tree. I used them for two seasons before the smell faded.

When I bought this product I was hoping to make our authentic-looking artificial Xmas tree smell like a fir tree, and am pleasantly surprised at how natural this product smells. I read other reviews saying that the fragrance didn't last, or that the scent sticks arrived without much smell. That has not been my experience. The scent sticks all seem recently made, and have a nice, assertive fir smell. The only reason that I put just three stars for value for the money, is that my wife found what she thought was the same product for considerably less money at a local retailer. YMMV. Otherwise, I am very happy with this product.
