I find the brand Edie Bauer to be a quality brand, so I wanted a new blanket last winter, and got this one. I use it in my recliner, which I often sleep in for naps. I love the size of this, which is perfect for naps in recliners. It is also great for just cuddling with pets, or reading--and I do use it from earliest autumn to latest spring. It IS too warm for summer, unless your housemate insists on turning the air conditioner to ARCTIC. Then, yeah, it becomes a 4-season blanket.I find it to be warm while still being light in weight, so if you sleep with it over your toes, they won't yell at you because of the weight. This blanket/throw also washes well, and is not going to shed like a double-coated dog. Yes, it sheds a bit, so clean out the dryer fluff holder thingie after you dry it, and all is well. It is well-made, so I don't think I'll have to buy a new blanket this year. --And the plaid is gorgeous!!!

Nice cotton throw. Quiet soft print. Comes in handy on cool nights. Just big enough, stores easily. Important to me, like things put away.

My son asked for this for his dorm room. He said it's comfy, warm and he loves it

Love it and it's very heavy

It’s pretty thin and threadbare in places. Mine arrived with a hole in it. This isn’t what you’d consider to be EB quality. I was stunned. Are these blankets the factory rejects that didn’t pass QC?? It looks and feels like a cheap blanket you could get at the dollar store. The brand/care tags are on the plaid side, which is odd and makes the blanket look weird as if it’s inside out when it’s not. It’s on the small side for a throw, it won’t fit a full-sized adult. Idk. It’s not worth what I paid. Can’t recommend it.

My dad loves it and uses it when he watches TV, which is all the time, lol.
