Great fan, Extremely silent and works great if you ...
Pros:Great fan, Extremely silent and works great if you do not have the fan wired separate from the vanity lights. You flick the switch and goes in full power mode which is still very quiet compared to other fans.In normal mode it speeds up as humidity in the room raises during a shower.Cons: this fan will require and work best with a 4inch exhaust duct so you might need to upgrade the duct or buy an 4in to 3in adapterElectrical hookup is on the side which makes the remodel install quite challenging if there is no access from above the ceiling

Does what it says,
Very quiet. You won't know it is on. Not sure if the size I purchased was appropriate to my bath. Takes about 20 in Mid size hall bath in town house to clear glass

Delta has poor customer service
Humidity sensor failed on mine. Delta refused to send me a new tiny replacement sensor (is easily replaceable and probably a $2 part for them), instead asking me to buy one. Will not buy anything from Delta anymore as they strike me as cheapskates.

Quiet but difficult to install & tends to run on
I installed two of these fans with a regular on/off switch expecting the built-in humidistat to spin up and down the fan. The motor for the fan sits about a inch and a quarter higher than the fan box and, because it made the whole thing so tall, required a 3/4" plywood spacer (see photo). The vent connection slides along a track with four metal ears to guide it into place, but these ears are sharp and tended to bind making the final install an exercise in frustration. The electrical junction was, for this install, on the wrong side (opposite the vent) and the line in was too short to reach it so I had to install a j-box just to add the 3 inches of Romex. The vent connection allowed zero play, so the pipe had to be cut and formed very precisely. All told, they were a pain to install. For the first two days, the fan worked perfectly. On automatic mode it measured 0.3 sones (raising the ambient sound pressure an average of 12 db). In full-speed manual mode it was about 0.7 sones. It turned itself on about 5 minutes into a shower and turned itself off about 10 minutes after. The room never got steamy and there was no condensation on the walls. The fan was definitely powerful enough to open the door if it wasn't latched. But on the third day the weather changed, and it got a bit cooler. The fan begin to zombie run; turning itself on without a shower having happened or never turning off. The ambient humidity was around 54%.I installed a humidity-sensing switch with an adjustable sensitivity humidistat which solved the problem, but made the fan's built-in humidistat redundant and a potential cause of interference.

Very quiet
The fan is very quiet and its speed automatically adjusts according to the humidity level. The greater the humidity, the faster the fan goes. You can flip the power on and off to change it from humidity sensing to full speed. Toggle the power again to go back to humidity sensing mode. I live in South Florida where the humidity is very high, and this fan is perfect for my application here.

Awesome fan
This is a really good fan . I had to get somewhat creative on the install because the brackets would not fit between the studs .It gets the humidity right out of my mirror never fogs up anymore.its also super quiet ,you can barely tell that it running. And it's great that it has the humidity sensing feature because most people at our house always forget to turn on the fan

I personally believe these are the best and most quiet fans on the market
I previously had Delta Fans in my other home for about five years. Just recently move and bought three more Delta fans for this new home.I personally believe these are the best and most quiet fans on the market. With the humidity sensing device they also help cool your home better.
