Impressive Air Filters — Worth the Upgrade!
I’ve been using these MERV 13 16x20x1 filters for a few months now, and the difference in air quality is noticeable. They catch everything—dust, pollen, and pet dander. My allergies have improved, and the house just feels cleaner. They fit perfectly in my HVAC system and last the full 3 months (sometimes longer, depending on the season). Just be aware, since they’re a higher MERV rating, your system might have to work a bit harder—but mine has handled it just fine.If you want cleaner air, especially with pets, allergies, or sensitive lungs, these are 100% worth it.

Merv 13
These filters are the best made filters I have found to date. Sharp folds, tight construction. They filter so well that I had to tape them, otherwise they are vacuumed by my Carrier system. Unfortunately, filter housings are very poorly designed in most AC systems. By blue taping the filters you prevent any filtering loss that will happen with most systems.Air quality has improved by a huge massive lot vs Merv 8 that I was using. These Merv 13 even help with fumes and cooking smells. I have some serious allergies and these filters are definitely a game changer for those who spend more time at home. I feel soo much better. Extremely happy with the change and the filtration capabilities.I have noticed no change in my carrier system performance whatsoever. I'm sure it is harder for the blower motor to use merv 13 filters, but my AC handles it perfectly. Merv 13 could be too much for some older AC systems, so always consider check your model and capabilities of it.My AC is purposely undersized. I run my AC for about 10 to 15 hours a day during the long Central FL summers. You can see how the new vs old looks in the picture after a hard month of use.If you can, get these, you will love them.

Exactly what I needed
Difficult size to find locally. Fit our new furnace perfectly and doing a great job cleaning fine particles out of the air from construction on a new construction home

Exactly what we needed and at a very good price
My wife and I struggled for months to source the proper HVAC air filter for our system. A large part of the issue may have been due to the fact that the HVAC hardware in the attic is clearly a Frankenstein situation where previous owners had HVAC techs "rebuild" the whole indoor evaporator mechanism with a bunch of random parts from at least 3-5 different brand names.Anyways, I was tasked with managing this part of the condo once I moved in a few years ago and it was a struggle to figure out how it should be properly set up. After buying several filters of the wrong format/size we finally were able to confirm with an HVAC tech the proper size and proper installation of said filter. These filters are great. The only thing you should be concerned about is how well your HVAC system can handle higher-grade filters. I knew I wanted a HEPA-graded filter (I did my best to vacuum/clean out the ducts at least 2-3 times in the past 5 years), but I didn't realize that it could impact the performance of the HVAC system if it's too high of a grade. The filter an HVAC tech installed when we were trying to figure out why the system wasn't working consistently was almost transparent and clearly did not impede airflow. These filters need to be installed in the right direction (common with any decent filter) and clearly require much more force to push air through them than any super cheap option your HVAC tech might have in their truck. Does having a HEPA-grade filter impact airflow from the vents? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes--assuming your system can handle pushing air through the new bottleneck.Unfortunately, if your HVAC system can't handle moving air through this I think you will be in the market for a new evaporator/internal HVAC component in the near future. I spent hours (in aggregate) researching options for this and coming up with possible fixes that wouldn't require replacing the whole AC unit. We ultimately had to due to the compressor (the part that's outside) failing, but the installers confirmed that the old unit wouldn't have been able to keep up with higher-end filters anyways.TL;DR: Great filters. Only problem is that if your HVAC isn't robust enough to support pushing air through high-grade filters it will prove to you and your family that you need a new system. I still highly recommend these filters but if you're switching from super cheap/no-name filters to this and your system is old... you may be looking at a whole new HVAC setup if it can't handle airflow effectively.
