dbxDriveRack PA2 PA Management System w/ RTA-M Measurement Microphone, Cables Bundle

I'm by no means an audio expert...I just love loud music....over the last several months I've been building my own speakers with boxes and the whole nine yards...I've got 5 amps, a preamp, 3 way crossover...EQ...power conditioner...two 15" subs...two 8" subs...two 8" mids...2 bullet twweeters...and two 3 way jbl e90 towers that are about 25 years old or so....I just was having a hell of a time getting the sound where I wanted it...there was always too much of something and not enough of another...I was just not able to get it right with the 3 way crossover and other tools at my disposal...could I have?...maybe....but since I already had a substantial amount of money invested into this setup, I wanted it to sound as perfect as my old ears could discern...that said, I decided to dry the driverack PA2 and see if it could get the results I was looking for....I definitely made the right choice...it came with the RTA mic and I basically just used the wizard feature and followed the instructions...first run through generated the best sound I've heard from my setup....I don't know or understand what most of the features this thing has do to the sound and I probably never will...the only things I've touched a little are the crossover settings and EQ settings to make the bass a touch punchier...even though my speakers are mostly custom built and not in the database of speakers this thing uses to automatically set things up, it pretty much nailed the settings that I can understand...my adjustments were very minor in the big scheme of things...I couldn't be happier with it and it definitely made an immediate positive change to the audio I was hearing...I'd recommend it to anyone who has a PA type of audio setup and needs a little help dialing it in...its like having an audio technician attached to your setup who just makes your system sound better without asking you a bunch of complicated questions in terminology that you don't understand...a loudspeaker management system for idiots! totally worth every penny...get one

If you are a sound system installer this is a must have. This unit does everything you could possibly need for a sound system. This all-in-one system is super easy to set up and improved our sound system by leaps and bounds.

Totally changed the audio quality of my DJ system

Stll learning how to use everything on this, but basic setup was pretty straight-forward and the app is pretty clean and well laid out.Things I don't like: you have to use the app for easy access to full functionality. I would prefer a bit more/easier front panel control. Also USB connection to a Windows box is required for firmware update, even though it has a network interface. It seems odd in 2024 to not be able to update via network.

If you have a band and a PA, this is essential to getting great sound. Do not hesitate to get one of these. Just run the wizard. We threw our old EQs and everything else out in our rack and now we just run this. Night and Day difference. It's the best money you will ever spend on your system. Now we can focus on playing and not fighting with the sound system. This bundle is a bargain!
