THIS PLANTER IS EXCELLENT FOR ELDERLY GARDENERS
This planter is perfect. This year I was going to give up growing my plants due to mobility issues. My neighbour visited and showed me an EasyLife catalogue displaying this planter. I thought it was just what I needed. I decided to look on Amazon and was pleased to see I could get it quicker through them and it arrived with 24 hrs of ordering.Next day I set it up, very easy. I did have plants, grown from seed, that I was going to give to my neighbour as I did not think I was up to all the watering. You see, I have lived here for 5 years and the previous owners laid down pebbles the size of coal - I call them red coal. Horrible things. Walking is very difficult and last week I twisted my ankle and fell. At 76, you do not want to fall, hence asking my neighbour if she wanted my plants and I will always be thankful to her for showing me this planter. Within an hour or so, I had potted up my now large seedlings on a concrete path and I now can't wait for next year because I am going to purchase more to fill up my concrete paths. 35 years ago, I had a garden of one acre and I love gardening. Now I am reduced to planters but it makes me happy. I really, highly recommend these 5 tier planters to anyone, especially the elderly, because there is no reason to give up the joy of growing seeds indoors and potting up. I feel they are value for money because of the joy and happiness they have given me. You can't put a price on that.

Great for strawberry plants
Had this about 3 months. I have taken one star off because the brackets which hold the troughs did need bending a little. I planted 2 strawberry plants and one herb in each trough and they have grown superbly in this planter against a south facing wall. No slug/ snail nibbles! The top tiers ripen first so I got a useful succession of fruit. Sturdier than I initially thought once filled with soil although I do have it in a sheltered corner.

Not a lot of space between each row
Came fast but can only work for low flowers as there is not really a lot of space between each box. I thought it would be offset by the diagonal Way in which they're displayed laid out on the photos but unfortunately they overlap one another almost entirely and there's barely any offset.
