Good value
Had to replace an existing value that cracked after about 5+ years. New value worked perfectly. In response to other reviews that stated the value was hard to turn, that occurs if you over tighten the value body. Easy enough to avoid by not over tightening the body.

Less Expensive Pool Valves
These are less expensive than some but the quality is not that great. Pvc seems fine but opening and closing the actual valve is not great.I felt them before I installed them and lubed the inside of valve with plumber silicone grease but it didn't help. 1 I can open and close with some strong force the other forget it. Would I buy again NOPE.

Very hard to turn the handle it actually broke off I had to drill a hole through it and put a bolt to keep it on there

Very disappointed in this particular product perhaps it was a An isolated case I don’t know?
Very disappointed got the pool put together and the handle on it won’t turn the ball valve and it keeps sliding off …don’t recommend it…Very disappointed handles slides off had to use a wrench to turn it which is a big no-no as we all know. Had to wait to get to the store which is an hour away to buy a new one which was actually $17 anyway should’ve went there in the first place.
