Why wait for an Indian wedding when a Catholic wedding will do?
Bottom line:: Don’t hesitate if you think you want this glorious ensemble! Mine just arrived this evening. It’s by far and away the loveliest thing I’ve put on my body in two years! I’m 5’8 and wear a size 14 most of the time. I was concerned that the 3XL would still be too small, but it fit perfectly. It’s comfortable, flattering, and the colors would be perfect for almost any complexion or skin tone.I had to buy something to wear to a “formal” wedding at the Cathedral Basilica where I live. I fully embrace my femininity and curves and wanted to feel comfortable and authentic while respecting the request to be “formal”. I’m a Buddhist & a non-conformist where clothing, make-up, & societal standards for women are concerned in the part of the country where I live. I’m 45 — no children, I’m not married, I’m a death doula & healer on a low income, and I’m white. I’m not stuffing myself into an expensive formal dress, getting my waist length hair professionally done, showing more skin than I’m comfortable with, and wearing a ton of make-up to try & conform when that’s just not who I am. I just can’t. On the other hand— I love the family members whose wedding this is, and I want to find a way to honor their request. This outfit is the perfect compromise that meets all the needs on the table! Modest, elegant, feminine, and pretty. I’m so grateful for the ability to wear such a beautiful style from Indian culture. The designer makes a point of wanting to find a way to bring East and West together in their designs, and it seems they’ve blessed everyone from either direction with their vision and it’s results. I’m grateful and honored to wear it!

Pleasantly surprised
I didn't know what to think of the mixed reviews, and I've never bought traditional Indian clothing before. The company I work for has a sizable Indian population and were recently preparing for a Diwali celebration. We were encouraged to wear Indian clothing which I was a little intimidated by. I searched all over Amazon and was a little discouraged by all the iffy reviews but eventually settled on this one. I'm glad I did. This is a gorgeous set and good quality for the money. The colors are the same as shown. It was packaged nicely and all I had to do was iron it. I recommend ironing the top inside out so as to not melt the gold appliqués as a precaution. I chose to wear jeans instead of the pants to give it a modern twist. It looked very chic and was extremely comfortable.I did buy a separate dupatta in a metallic gold color that seemed more dressy than the coral one it came with. Either one would have been fine.I received many compliments on this outfit from my Indian coworkers and they seemed very happy some of us took the trouble to wear traditional garb.

Absolutely beautiful but pants a different size
I am going to my first Indian wedding and wanted something casual but cute for the rehearsal dinner. The dress is gorgeous and is the right size. I bought a different saree as I’m not really into not matching items. But, the pants are 3 sizes smaller. Even says so on the tag so now I’ll have to buy different pants.

Top is disproportionately small and dye wiped off on my bra, skin, and purse
I bought a few kurti sets to try on and this one appeared to have the nicest-looking fabric. The fabric was soft and comfortable and the design was very pretty and looks like the picture. The scarf (dupatta) was also nice.My major complaints are that the head hole is so small you can barely get your head through it and the bust area is much smaller than stated in their sizing guide, so it was very tight around the bust and fit well elsewhere. Also, the blue dye wore off on my skin, white bra, and champagne-colored clutch and does not come off the latter two.In general, you get what you pay for and this is cheap and cheaply made.

Misfit
The measurements is not cut to size. The top of the dress especially the arm and chest is smaller than normal. Pants fit perfect but dress no. To much material from the waistline down.

Pleasantly Surprised!!
This outfit truly made me feel beautiful putting it on!For reference, I’m a westerner traveling to Bangladesh for the first time. I wanted something appropriate to wear. I am 5 feet tall and weigh 183 pounds. I tend to carry weight in my stomach, chest, and upper arms.I purchased the largest size available, which is a size 2X and held my breath!Shipping was super fast, and not only did the top fit, it was very flattering. My only concern is the length of the dress. Since I’m so short, I think to look 100% it needs to be hemmed up a few inches; although, I can probably get away with leaving it long.I hope this review helps! The colors are rich and vibrant, too! And the price is fantastic!

Great item
This suit is very well stitched. I love the color and the style! Every time I wear it, I get LOTS of compliments!! I have already “advertised” the suit so much among my circle of friends and followers on social media. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an Indian suit that can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. The Duppatta is also full length, not short at all!I wish the seller would offer more such budget friendly suits and still manage to deliver quality work.I will be looking for more suits by this brand for sure.
