This soft version of the Lincove Cloud Canadian Down Pillow was almost the perfect pillow for me. I learned during the trial period that I needed the next level of firmness. Without the trial, I would have given up! Ultimately, with help from Lincove customer service, I ended up with the medium version of the Cloud pillow and it feels just right.I remember sleeping comfortably on a down pillow when I was younger. However, the quality of replacement pillows I've purchased over the years never measured up to what I remember. The promises are inspiring, but shredded memory foam, molded memory foam, or cotton fill are not for me. Recently, thanks to a pillow from one of those companies that promised I would sleep "cooler," I started waking up with neck pain in the middle of the night. That's when my search for the right pillow kicked into high gear.The Lincove Cloud pillow has received many positive reviews, so I decided to try the "soft" firmness level. I was impressed with the luxurious look and feel of the pillow and the excellent packaging. It reminded me of the pillows of long ago. However, the weight of my head nearly flattened the softest pillow in one night. I'm a small person, but apparently need more support!I emailed Lincove, and the customer service rep replied immediately. She suggested I give the pillow a bit longer, and that I put it in the dryer in the Air Fluff cycle for 15-20 minutes. The pillow bounced right back, but I decided after 20 nights or so that I didn't want to run the dryer daily. So I reached out to the Lincove representative about exchanging the pillow for the medium firmness. That was handled so easily, and they ended up letting me keep the soft pillow as well as receiving the medium. I don't mind at all that the company cannot extend a trial period for the second pillow!Excellent customer service! Quality product. I love my new pillow!
