Homemade part at a foreign price.
Just installed the ICM and my 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix fired right up after a bad ignition coil shorted and took the original ICM with it unfortunately. Hopefully this last as long as the original, but until then, this product works wonders. Read the box it came in, made in United States. Put a smile on my face, a great product at a great price, homemade. For less than a Benjamin, my car is back to life. Not to mention it came exactly how it is pictured with the silicone seals on the posts, a seal inside the wire harness connector, and blacked out chipset to boot. I am one happy camper.

easy to install on a 2001 Buick
This ignition control Module was installed by a DIY on a 2001 Buick 3.8L. It took about 15 minutes to replace. Currently it is working great. I'll update if it goes bad.

Was the solution to the problem.
Wasgetting a p300 random misfire code and car was misfiring badly. Changed the plugs wires and coils with no change. For a 1999 firebird. This may be the problem you are having. Car no longer misfires and runs like it used to. Honestly it was fairly easy to install too.

Overall have not had any issues with this brand
This was a lot cheaper than walking into O’Reillys and buying it from the store. It is not give me any issues and was way cheaper than Oem, but I do suggest if you have the money to always go with Oem to your vehicle but if it is a winter beater or something that you don’t care about it is OK to do so, but don’t forget sometimes they give you problems because it is not what came on the car

Made the car run again
Installed on a 2004 Buick LeSabre worked great but car still had problems would barely start rough idle and stalling I took off the coils the DNAs I bought on Amazon to replace the old ones they were junk put the old ones back on and the car runs like a million bucks That's what I get for trying to fix something that isn't broke with Chinese junk buy name brand coils and you have to have thermal grease not dialectical grease

Failed in less than 5 months
Standard Ignition use to be top of the line. Now they went south. So sad for a product that used to be the best. Then when they warranted the product they sent me an off brand..

First one dead out of the box
My car had a problem of randomly stalling. It was narrowed down to the plug on the icmReplaced the wiring harness and installed the new icm at the same time. Started car up and immediately had a check engine light for code p0340 camshaft position sensor. Suspicious of the new icm I reinstalled the old icm and no check engine light anymore. So the new icm was bad right out of the box. Amazon did send a replacement and so far the new one is working great. Just a lot of added frustration on top of the original stalling problem.

Worked just as it should.
Good price. Product was new. Remember that after replacing the module, you'll most likely new to replace the 15amp fuse as well.
