I decided I needed some lighting when I started doing product reviews and this lightbox seemed to fit the bill just right.For the price, the soft box, stand and 3 LED bulbs are included, and a carrying case to hold it all conveniently in one place. I really do prefer the LED bulbs over the CFL since I don't have to worry about breaking glass bulbs and they're more energy efficient.So, as far the setup, it took me not more than 4-5 minutes to unbox this and set it all up. I'd really recommending watching the video I've uploaded, but it really is a no brainer; you really don't need any kind of instruction or help setting this up as it's so simple.As far as lighting scenes and how well it looks: watch my video review! The color of the light as well as the intensity serves to get you better color detail as well as sharper images than just using room lighting. I'd actually recommend buying 2 or three of these soft box kits with the LED bulbs to get more even lighting from both sides of whatever scene you're lighting.Overall, an amazing value, super simple to assemble and stores away extremely easily! Highly recommend!

I purchased this a few months ago to practice and expand my indoor photography. This is perfect for what I’m doing, I am by no means a professional but I really enjoy doing photography and do it as a side business. I generally don’t do indoors due to not having a studio or access to the right lighting. This definitely helps, it adds a soft light but not too much. It’s good for portraits. It’s light weight and easy to set up. It comes with a carrying case, I keep everything in there including the light bulb, I keep the light bulb in the styrofoam box it came in and only take it out when using it so it doesn’t break.

I could of worked with a picture on the box or something litterly you just gotta figure out what is what and what goes where I have not fully figured it out yet to know if it all works I got overwhelmed and gave up for the night

The media could not be loaded. My first impression is that they will work just perfect for my semi-professional photography side job. I unboxed it and every thing was in working order. Both lights function appropriately. and I have been trying different options from LED lights to softboxes like this. This is one of the first times I have worked with Soft-boxes. I have used other kits before now, just first time owning them and experimenting with them on my own. I have to say.I am impressed with the quality of these softboxes.

The tripod on this light is not large enough to balance the light. You must use the sand bag at the end of the arm in order to keep it from tipping over. Depending on how far you need to extend the light it will tip over even with a counter weight on the opposite end. The light gets extremely hot, so much so that the glue holding the housing melts. It causes the actual CFL bulb to separate from its base and dangle by its electrical cords. Once it’s cooled down the light bulb can be put back together. Very disappointed in the quality.

This set is AMAZING! Super easy to set up! Lights are SUPER BRIGHT! The fabric is quite sturdy for the backdrops! The backdrop holder is super sturdy and built to last! I am super impressed with this whole set! I would definitely recommend this for anyone who is trying to get a head start at photography! Hands down, this was a great purchase!

MUCH MUCH MUCH better quality than I was expecting for the price (~$34)!It was at my house just barely over 24 hrs after ordering and it arrived VERY well packaged!If I had to nitpick, my only complaint would be that while there IS a male 1/4-20 thread on top of the tripod, the IS NOT a thread on the mount for the soft box. There is only a tension-style mount. But at this price-point, it's not enough to make me take away any stars.MORAL OF THE STORY: Buy with confidence! I will CERTAINLY be again in the future! Now get out there and SHOOT!
