This antenna extension cable works on all SIRIUS XM Radios. It is un-amplified, but utilizing low loss cable we are able to achieve excellent results. It is an excellent low cost solution for users that do not require the extended length 50' Delphi brand cable. The universal antenna extension is compatible with any single lead antenna for the XM Satellite Radio receivers, including the XMP3, Skyfi, PCR, Roady and Commander. Cable has a straight male and a right-angle female SMB connector. You may experience slight loss of signal reception since there is no amplifier to counter the minor signal loss that the added cable length causes. DO NOT use more than one of these 10' extension cables in any antenna extension configuration. To disconnect the cable, grasp the gold connector only. Pulling on the cable itself could cause internal damage.

No longer has gold plated connectors
I've purchased this item before and it used to feature gold plated connectors and a compact right angle SMB plug. This new version has chrome connectors and the right angle SMB plug is way deeper (20.4 vs 14.4 mm). While it probably works fine it is too deep for my application so I ordered this instead: Bingfu RF Pigtail Standard 50 Ohm SMB Jack Male to Right Angle SMB Plug Female on 5m(16.40ft) RG174 Coaxial Cable for GPS WiFi Routers Switches Telemetry M2M Test Picture 1 is what I received, picture 2 shows the old style right angle SMB plug.

Perfect with the Verizon Network Extender GPS
I have the Verizon cell phone in-home Network Extender (Femtocell) unit. The unit itself sits in a centrally located area of my house, with the required GPS receiver running to the outside. The Verizon supplied GPS cable is rather ridiculously short...about 15'. After doing some research, I learned that the existing unit and cable require SMB type connectors. I further learned that the Sirius units employ the same connector types.This 10' extension cable was the perfect solution, and at a reasonable price! It works for its intended purpose and that makes me a happy customer!

Not perfect
If you're looking at this item, you know what you need. I noticed the following:• The connectors are loose, nowhere near as tight as XM OEM. I use a velcro strap to hold mine in place.However, it DOES have a right-angle connector at the radio end, which most extensions don't, so that's good.• You will experience some signal loss. I bought this as an alternative to putting my antenna on my dashboard, behind the windshield. Signal capture is just about the same in both cases--about one bar lower than I would get with no extension and the antenna outside of the car.

works great!
I used this to run from the factory XM antenna in my 2005.5 Audi S4. I think it was the green plug for anyone else trying to do this. I didn't need any adaptor and have about a foot extra with were I mounted my XM onyx ez tuner. I can't tell any loss in reception due to this extension and it works much much better than the antenna that came with the kit sitting on the dash.I know you are not supposed to put the antenna on the dash but I knew this cable was coming and didn't want to have to install then uninstall the other one.

Gives you that little extra
At first thought, I was worried. "Universal" cables have often disappointed me, but this one actually works. The "L" shaped connector should fit even the oddest radio configuration, while the other end fits snug to the normal antennas connector. Might even be worth looking at the longer ones someday.

because of my home set up!i needed longer xm radio antenna wire. this wire worked well no signal loss. for this lenth.

wrong cable
The cable is incorrect and won't work with an Serrius radio antenna. wrong fittings on one end. Not worth the effort to send it back and try and get the right one if they have them.
