Excellent, sturdy, fully-functioning & easy to use unit. Great Value!
I absolutely recommend this Steam Press. For a household, it’s an invaluable tool. For 13 years, I enjoyed a Steampress 660, which I probably ruined the steam function because I failed to use distilled water – CA is notorious for very hard water ( calcium, minerals, deposits, etc). Not this time! I am strictly using it per manufacturing recommendation. Already I have saved hours in ironing time. Pillow cases, my custom-designed bathroom towel sets with pretty edging, slacks with perfect creases, t-shirts and blouses, etc. Because I paid so much for the first one, I was cringing about buying a replacement…. After all, I could still use the old one to press things, just without the steam. Thankfully, Amazon had this one to offer. It came with a new spray bottle, easy water-refill container AND TWO new extra iron board covers!!! I turned on the unit out of the box, added the DISTILLED WATER, gave it plenty of time 2-4 minutes to heat up to my preferred temp, and it works like a CHAMP! It sits with a dust cover between uses right next to the laundry machine area, so that, right out the dryer (I bring items out a tad moist to save energy) I can then iron right away and into the linen closets, garment drawer and onto closet hangers they go! Poof. Done. Love it!! Thank you Amazon.PS Another tip: If you plan to use spray starch like I do, grab some flour-bag kitchen towels from WalMart (20 for $14} – they’re kinda like gauze cloths/cheese clothes – also useful to cover bowl and let bread dough rise. I spray starch my ironing projects, plus a little water spray, lay the clean flour cloth over the garment and begin to press. This also minimizes starch built-up on the iron’s heating surface.PPS Learn to manipulate your garment, while keeping your hands, fingers, arms away from the heating element surface to avoid burns. You may want to use oven mitts or cotton gloves till you get the hang of this technique.

easy to use
Easy to use and the results are good. It is a little slow to warm up, so allow some time.

Its nice. Much smaller than I thought. Shouldve checked dimensions
Pros:Makes steam, and produces enough heat to where you only have to press one leg of a pair of pants. The same applies to polo/rugby shirts. Button down shirts can be a challenge to keep from wrinkling as the ironing surface isnt very wide.Cons:Too small. I advise ordering the 32 in lengthSummary: A nice professional result iron that gets the job done with a little effort.

So Far So Good! Returning to the office stinks but...
As my title states it.... gone are the days of waking up in your boxers and donning on a less than perfectly pressed dress shirt to jump on a conference call (camera doesnt pick up wrinkles) .....Returning to the office stinks and now I have to either pay the pandemic tax on dry cleaning or go back to spending hours... literally hours.. pressing shirts after you run through 30 dress shirts and let the ironing pile build up.Just a little "history"... I own a standard Iron and a garment steamer... with each upgrade in the path it did make things "faster" with similar results.Enter this investment.. Its a little on the expensive side initially and its NOT perfect like a traditional iron or steamed article... BUT that being said if you just want "Good Enough" which for everyday office presentability.... the quality of press more that suffices.Getting that out of the way I've timed myself per article which I break down into 3 categories:1- Dress Shirts - 80 seconds per shirt - to do two sleeves, front left and right, back left and right, and quick collar press. This includes sometimes the shirt falling off alignment and realigning and having to "flatten" before press.2- Slacks / Pants / Jeans - 60 seconds3 - T-Shirts - 40 secondsSo rough comparison vs the garment steamer - the press is doubly as fast... so I save HALF the time or you can say I get back time on a Sunday to goof off and play more PC games vs doing a boring chore. Here's the best part... with a garment steamer.. you NEED to be focused on what you're doing or else you will BURN yourself... with a press you flatten on its board .. then you press down partially ... burst some steam ... and watch youtube or TV so you can pass the time safely why doing the chore....With practice.. I dont even look .. just grab, flatten, steam, and press all while staring at the tv.. so bonus to a hybrid goofing off while doing chores! For me this was worth it - Saves money to DIY vs Dry Cleaning - Time saver vs traditional methods - Can safetly multitask too!Just keep in mind.. this doesnt give you PERFECT results .. if you need that .. in the one off you need it just break out the traditional iron / steamer for long flowy things like dresses and pleated curtains.. But its more than good enough for everyday office presentability. Thanks for reading!

Don't buy
It is not good at all. It does not stem. I can't return. I just opened it up today and tried to use it. I went to see I can send it back but it's to late. Not good at all, lost my money.

The Cord
The cord was hard to get out of the storage space. The steam press is great. It saves time and I got a lot of ironing done in record time.
