Spinner's Multitool - Spinning Control Card with Twist Angle and Diz

Great for spinning, helps to keep my spinning even and yarn guage.

I have been looking for one of these for at least twenty years and never found one before finding it by accident on Amazon. It is light weight but sturdy and should last a lifetime. If you get one, definitely watch the how-to-use video on the maker’s website. It is definitely worth the purchase price.

Wonderful little tool - does the job and comes delightfully packaged in a pink box with a length of matching pink merino roving! Charming!

The spinner's tool is thicker than I had pictured in my head, and I love that. It feels very substantial, like it will last many years. The lines are clearly marked though they aren't cut so deep into the wood that it would cause an issue with catching the fiber. My package was delivered in a nice box with a lovely soft gray sample of merino. Ingenious "packing material" and bonus item in one. lol

The only reason this product got less stars was because each of those lines didn’t say what kind of thickness it equaled. I had to do some research online and write with permanent marker on the sides.Also there was no place that had a 1 inch notch. You were supposed to say how many wraps per inch equals how thick the yarn is, but I had to get a separate tool with an inch marker.I do like it though and I might end up cutting one side with an inch marker with some tools or a saw.

Arrived in a beautiful little box in a bed of fiber - the perfect delivery for a spinner's tool. The tool includes standard spinners control card functionality to measure WPI, with extra functions to measure the twist angle and twists per inch. It really is the only tool you need to measure your completed yarn, and it's great to know that I'm supporting a family business!
