Very bright, but you will need a junction box etc
I bought this just to brighten up the driveway.Firstly, don't expect this to simply plug into a power socket. You will need a junction box and a power lead to the junction box. I cut an old PC kettle lead and then hooked up to a junction box and it worked just fine. You may want to get a professional if you're not confident with cutting wires and knowing live from neutral etc. There are 3 dials, for darkness level before light will come on, amount of time light stays on, and sensitivity of the sensor.I found that it took a good 20 minutes of walking back and forth at dusk in order to get the settings calibrated to my liking. So be prepared for that and the timing of this is crucial if you want to light to come on at the right darkness level.I also found that if the panel is pointing downwards, the sensor cannot be pointing further upwards than the angle the panel is at. This is a shame since it then restricts the range at which it can detect. The only remedy is to point the panel further upwards, but then the light will shine upwards too, giving out a lot of upwards light pollution. Luckily due to wide spread of light, the downwards light isn't too badly affected. So not ideal but forgivable at the price.Pros- very bright, the 10,000 lumen figure seems about right- well priced- adjustable darkness level, light on period and sensor sensitivityCons- need to wire up to a junction box (but so do most other lights)- bit fiddly and good deal of trial and error setting up the correct darkness, light on period and sensitivity.- sensor has trouble picking up movement if pointed down too much. Sensor cannot be pushed up at a higher angle than 90 degrees to what the light is at.Overall seems a very good light for the money (£30). Only niggle being that the sensor cannot point higher upwards than the light panel, reducing your sensor range to about 20 feet unless you point the panel level rather than downwards. But given the price of the panel, I can forgive that.

Bapro 100W Security Lights with Motion Sensor,Led Floodlight
The Bapro 100w LED light, is a very powerful light, ideal for secluded areas, anywhere else, it's brightness my cause an issue, especially with your neighbours, my neighbours are miserable, it upsets them, I'm more than happy! It lights up the communal walkways, as well as the gardens, opposite my house, the brightness is very reassuring, it has a large square area of light emitting diodes (LED's), connection to the fitting requires an adaptable IP rated box to terminate the 3 core flex to the mains supply, this item DOES require earthing, it's a class 1 equipment, very important, as the body is metallic.Installing it wasn't an issue, just make sure you isolate the supply before starting work on the circuit, I am an electrician by trade, but most householder should be able to replace, and fit a new fitting, obviously where there is no supply, a lot more work may be required. The setting up the PIR is always a hit and miss game, but eventually, you'll get the parameters, more or less, to your requirements, pleased with it so far, let' see how long it lasts.

A few negatives with this product.
I’m a competent DIYer and have installed a few security floodlights in my time, more recently the LED type. I found that the mounting bracket that comes with the light is quite flimsy despite the description, with the light mounted in the bracket as supplied, the light wobbles in the wind, this could cause false triggering. The power cable that comes preinstalled in the unit is very short and impractical, it needs an external power cable connector or additional exterior junction box to connect up to the power supply. The PIR sensors for both the old Halogen type and the newer LED type of floodlight are identical when it comes to setting them up. But I had immense problems with this one. After initially setting it up on a daylight setting for sensitivity and time on and testing it (ok), I then set it up for night time use. Unfortunately, it failed to work at all on the night time setting. I tried different “tricks” to get it to work but all to no avail. It appears that the PIR sensor was faulty and the light had to be returned.I may have been unlucky and got a faulty unit, but it has put me off this particular product (and which is also sold under different brand names – look for the physical similarity). And have bought a completely different brand and design.

Good spread of bright light, roughly the same as an old 400 /500W floodlight
Good spread of bright light, roughly the same as an old style 400 /500W halogen floodlight.Controls for Brightness of day when it switches off, Movement sensitivity and On-TimeLikedThe warm while colour is very nice rather than the grating blueish light of cold white onesMovement Sensitivity good out to 5 or 6M with few if any false triggeringSeems fairly robust and measured light output is consistent with 90W + of input powerNiggles (but I still Like it )The supplied power cable is so short you definitely need another waterproof box or joiner to connect into the house or other mains supply. If it was made 1m long it could could be passed through the house wall and connected indoorsTurning the supply off and on produces about 30 seconds of 'on time' before resuming movement sensitive operation. - This can be useful but I haven't found any way to keep it on permanently by any on-off-on type switch sequences as some other lamps can do

BRIGHT
Actually purchased this for indoor use when taking photos as opposed to probably everyone else. Bright is an understatement to describe this light. Obviously being an LED had to adjust the shutter speed in order to stop black lines on the photos but after that was done this has literally replaced 4 other lights that we were using at once - and is still brighter. For this reason it gets 5 stars. The cable is however very short and it does not come with a plug attached - had to attach an old plug myself and use an extender to reach the power. Obviously I realise this was not intended for what I am using it for but heads up.Would recommend to anyone looking for an extremely bright light.
