I decided to bake banana nut bread to give as gifts at holiday time. Then I neglected to buy enough bananas to fulfill my recipe needs as well as early enough to give them enough time to ripen for baking.My solution was this 100% organic dehydrated banana powder. Assuming three bananas per loaf, and using the enclosed scoop equaling one scoop per 1/4th of a banana; that would be 12 scoops. The container contains 22 scoops. I used 11 scoops in each batch and was able to bake two 5 X 8 inch loaves from each jar of powder. My banana nut bread was a great success and the intensity of the flavor was perfect. I baked six loaves from three jars of powder and everyone loved them. Fresh bananas would have been much less expensive but I also didn't need to worry about the bananas over-ripening, if I needed to bake my recipe over a span of several days without needing repeated trips to the grocery store.It's a wonderful product and I can't wait to try some of the other flavors.

I was skeptical of banana powder but after reading about different products I chose this one since it contains only banana fruit. I use it for smoothies. I mix it with pnut butter powder and a small bit of honey, then add kefir or plain yogurt and stir well - I use water to thin to desired consistency. Will definitely buy again, the smell is good and the flavor tastes like bananas!

It tastes like banana bread, but I like the flavor. I also love how it thickens up yogurt. Wish it wasn't so pricey.

This product doesn’t desolve all the way. It doest mix well with liquid. Came out chunky. This is more for blended drinks most likely. I was not satisfied with this product because on the description and on the suppliers website it says it mixes well with water.

The flavor is great and I love that it comes with a scoop. But if you don’t consume it right away what you put this in it gets very thick and creamy. If that’s what you want, then perfect, we just had a hard time with some things. If you want to add it to pancake mix then add some extra water or almond milk to the batch to even out the thickness.

It’s ok, I use it in my protein shakes to add some banana flavor with less calories than a banana but it’s bit off tasting. It does the trick to offset the chalky protein powder but I’m not sure I’d buy it again.

This is a wonderful find, a little goes a long way. I have since discovered that it is easy to over Banana. If there is such thing.Banana flavored products are difficult to find; For example Banana flavored protein (shake) and or meal replacement supplements. Often when you find them the Banana flavoring is Negligible.NOTE: There is a scoop in there. They buried the scoop. I was halfway through the product before discovering the scoop.

This Koyah Freeze Dried Banana powder is great!! I use it in protein shakes. I got sick of being the only one in my household that ate bananas, and they would always rot before I could finish them all. I decided to look for other alternatives, and this is the best one I've found. It tastes amazing and it lasts! It's a really good substitute when you just can't have fresh bananas, it's organic, and super easy to use! I've added this to my staple for my shakes. Thank you Koyah!
