Good quality & size & fast and easy to setup. Decent price
Epson have always been good but I haven't owned on for many years due to owning a colour laser. Now that died, and I need something smaller I went back to Epson. This printer is compact and produces good print and scan. Easy to setup with the colour display (not toushscreen).I also purchased a XL set of inks for about £50 from Amazon (some sellers have it for £75), so shop on axon or eBay. Don't use 3rd party inks, they will block the heads. One bad thing is that the drivers and software are a bit of a pain to find in the European website. So use the .com USA website instead.Really good price for a small basic All in One Printer /Scanner /Fax combo.

Good value all in one printer.
Relatively straightforward to install if you follow the instructions and know what you are doing. Good print quality. Has back feeder for paper rather than a paper tray and paper doesn't feed through straight unless sliding guides are tight up against the paper. There is a catcher for the printed items which folds out from the front - this works OK but is quite flimsy so I don't leave it out as I think it could easily be broken. Has useful scan and copy functions, also Fax - but who uses fax these days?

Very Good!
I bought this printer as it was reduce in price and it had a top loader function. Bought my wife and I use the printer. the quality of the print can vary at times but in the main it is good. We have had no dealings with the tech support as yet, so I cannot give comment. When I came to install I found it quite easy just follow the instructions and it was ready to print. The printer its self is built quite sturdy for items like it and it is easy to use. Both my wife and I like that we can connect via blue tooth to print items.Recommend this item: Hell YesThe vendor had the printer to us in good time and there was no damage to the item.

Should be called Workhorse not Workforce!!!
My old canon printer died. I tried to get the same one but there was none to be found. I started to research and found this gem. It better than my old printer in so many ways. I was alittle hesitant because some of the reviews were not good. I have absolutely no idea why. I have been told I am not that technical by my husband but on my own I set it up to see wifi, my laptop to see the printer and also to get my phone to print to it. Print quality perfect for office, not sure about the photo aspect as yet. But honestly, from quite a conservative person, I cannot rate it higher. So pleased. Epson, fantastic. I ordered it and received it in about 3-4 days. Well impressed Amazon! I have signed up for ink, it seems to take a while , certainly this first order. We will see...

Now stuck with a paperweight after firmware update
When I first purchased and used this printer I thought it was great. The quality and speed were good for the price and the self loading copier was a bonus. After the the ink ran out that came with it, I purchase some well reviewed non-epson cartridges. The printer wouldn't recognise them and then locked out all functions including scanning to computer which doesn't require ink. It would not let me get out of the ink not recognised loop.I needed to print urgently for work the next day so went and purchased some official Epson cartridges at about triple the cost. It wouldn't recognise these either. There are loads of videos and posts online about Epson having done this and they have a class action lawsuit in America against them. It renders the printer a very expensive paperweight and has been done intentionally to stop the use of non-oem cartridges, so you have to buy very expensive Epson ones.I will never buy an Epson product again. It's completely uncompetitive and very wasteful to brick thousands, if not more, printers for the sake of profits.

Functional, but does the Job.
The printer is sat next to me as I type, It's not the 1st time I have installed a printer, but it was one of the easier one's to install. It came with a Windows install disk, and that proved a reasonable level of information and on screen Prompts that helped me through the install process. I have tested the print quality by printing out an e-mail that was a mixture of Text and prints and I cannot fault the print quality. In this age of increasing home working, my 1st impression is it will prove its value. Appearance wise, it is functional, but so are most printers. I can see a lot of people being completely satisfied with this Printer.

Install is a freaking nightmare. Some ODD design choices. UPDATE - Its dead, Jim.
OK, I am not an IT newbie, I have been building and modding computers, both for home, Commerical, and industrial use since the ZX81 was new on the market. The mechanical set up of this is fairly easy, although my large fingers had problems getting the USB cable inserted due to the stupid channel they have created in the side of the case - I had to use long nosed pliers in the end.The lid mech for inserts docs for scanning is also a bit flimsy and gives me concerns for long-term use.Overall though, it is quick and easy; the same cannot be said for the software. As others have noted, the software install is broken; after THREE attempts, the PC would ONLY recognise the printer as a FAX machine, even though I deliberately said "NO" to installing the FAX software, as it is something that will NEVER be used.I tried all of the usual config menus, but got nowhere, in the end I used Windows own error fixing system to correct the errors the STUPID SOFTWARE HAD MADE.Also not happy at all the bloatware installed without a choice, none of which I ever had any intention of using and which I uninstalled as soon as I got the printer working correctly - INCLUDING THE FAX SOFTWARE I DECLINED BACK AT THE START.Finally, the cartridge costs are unjustifiably obscene, this is just a tank, no print heads built in; I bought a set of refillable carts for it for less than the cost of one genuine set of refills - and that kit includes enough ink for a year of expected use, I strongly suggest any other buyer does the same.AAAAAAND it is dead, just switched off in the middle of a printhead clean, and wont power back on. 11/02/2023.Bearing in mind, this had VERY light use - basically printing out my 10 y/o's homework once per week, so probably less than 500 pages since new.
