Gift for my husband. He loves it.Now it took over a month to get the smell out of it though.

Product does need to be aired out and alot of plastic wrap need to be removed. They have cover all metal in plastic wrap. This works absolutely perfect for fitting in my nc miata. Bag was 100% filled and fit perfect in the trunk. Plus it matches my interior. Bonus

I felt compelled to write a review because I almost did not buy this bag due to some of the negative reviews concerning the bag's smell when new. First, the bag is big, durable and looks to be well constructed to last many years. I bought it to store gym and work clothes and shoes in the trunk of my car, and for light travel when needed; it more than meets my purposes.Now about the smell, the bag is made of goat leather, not cow hide, so the smell is different than what you are used to. Cow leather smells more pleasant and goat hide is a bit more pungent, and so I researched on the pros/cons of goat leather before purchasing and discovered, in a lot of ways, it is preferred (i.e. more supple while at the same time being more durable than cow hide). Don't take my word for it, do your own research, but I'm sure you'll land on the same pages I did. Now my bag did not smell up my entire house as some reviews mentioned. I opened the bag up and laid it out on my dining room table for 3-4 days, and the smell dissipated to a large degree. It also comes untreated and a bit dry, so I applied a good coat of leather conditioner which softened and darkened the leather a bit (which I preferred). The conditioning also took away a good bit of the smell. I've read that you can put baking soda inside the bag for a few days and then vacuum it out, but I don't think that I need to do that at this point, as the bag has a faint leather/conditioner smell left only when you put your nose directly to it (which I would expect owning a leather bag). I'm glad I did my own research because otherwise I wouldn't have bought the bag. Again, it is big and roomy and appears to be well made and I can only assume that any smell will go away completely in time.

The bag seems to be well made and the size was perfect. I got the 32inch bag with pockets on each end . Plenty of room for a 3 or 4 day stay. It had an oder when I first go it but it is slowly going away. The zippers are heavy duty and should last. The leather is thick and soft. Good bag.

I bought this as a gift for my husband and he loves it! Genuine leather, it’s smells awesome and it’s a really good size to pack for a weekend trip.

What a buy, wow, this bag is above and beyond quality wise. I am impressed. Speechless wow! This is the best item I have bought so far from Amazon
