This was bought for my middle to practice gymnastics but it has also served as a mat for tummy time for our youngest. We love that it folds so you can store it. We use it A LOT and it has held up very well! It's cushion is soft without being too soft. It's big enough to practice cartwheels on and put under the bar we got for gymnastics.

Despite coming in a very large box, surprisingly compact. Thickness makes it very comfortable to use for exercise. Material is top quality. The carrying strap is also very convenient.

I received my mat yesterday, which could not have been more fortuitous. I had been doing serious landscaping work in my yard and my poor, arthritic back was screaming and weeping. Lo and behold, this mat allowed me to do the floor exercises my physical therapist recommended in a comfortable, nay, pleasant way.I have had arthritis since age 16. Floor exercises have been a consistent bugaboo for me, because hard surfaces put too much strain on my knees and wrists. Yoga mats are almost worse, especially if they're textured. This mat eliminated that problem; the first time that's happened outside of physio!It's compact and easily stowed; the rectangular shape is very much appreciated, as it slips neatly and effortlessly into my closet. I like the color, also--it's bright and cheery and gives just that little something extra to look forward to in a workout.Now to the downsides/potential downsides:It definitely has a strong plastic odor. Not at all uncommon with products like this. I hope airing it out will help with that. I aired it for a couple of hours before using it yesterday; by today there is still some lingering odor. Be mindful of this if you're sensitive. I expect that this is a temporary issue.The cover already has some areas where it seems puckered, and repeated stress could possibly wear it out fairly quickly. Time will tell. There are no egregiously sloppy stitches or design flaws. I choose to expect the best, but I'll certainly update as time passes.If you're like me and struggle with floor exercises on hard surfaces, do yourself a HUGE favor and get this mat.

I haven’t used this for long so we’ll see how it holds up, but so far so good. The one I have is about the size of a yoga mat, slightly shorter length. It’s thick and I was surprised at how dense it was when I first stepped on it. I’ve used others that are more squishy than anything. Not only is it extremely supportive but also comfortable. It’s folds up easily, easy to hide away and easy to clean. Has a nice durable feel to it. It does slide a bit, even on top of my yoga mat, it bunches a bit at the folds if you are doing exercises requiring stretching a leg out, like side lunges or lunges. The straps also get in the way a little bit of some exercises like alternating to and from push ups to other forms. The upsides heavily outweigh the setbacks and I’m glad to enjoy the benefits of this mat!

What a great mat! It weights practically nothing. It folds easily and has handles. It is 1.5" thick. I don't know what the interior material is, but it is good and firm. I didn't want a yoga mat or really any mat that was so flexible it could be rolled. This is a tri-fold. I use it on my couch for PT exercises. It is long enough for tall people and for 5'3" me, I can use one fold at an angle for elevating my head. It is perfect in every way.Getting on the floor is a problem for me, so using this great mat on furniture (couch or bed) is like being on the floor as far as support is concerned. You won't regret this purchase.
