Small, simple and gets the job done.
Their is nothing that I don't like. Very easy to use, seems accurate enough for field work and can easily slip in a pocket or use the case that comes with it.

Compact. Affordable. Convenient
As a fiber installer I’m required to test light. Instead of carrying my meter I check the light with this and make sure the installation can happen.Screen is easy to read and has a backlight for dark areas.2 triple A batteries are required for operation.The shape is a bit odd, thin pear like but fits in the hand comfortably.Cheap housing but expected for the price you pay.Accuracy is a bit off, so if something precise is required for you. Expect to pay more.Be sure you’re measuring the proper wavelength.

I tested this along side the company provided very expensive light meter and they are about the same maybe a decibel or two off. Would definitely recommend

Every good product
I really like this product. I work in with fiber optics every day and this product been one of the best investments I made. One thing that I really like about this product is the potability it’s small but still has all the things that I need.

I love it. Way more practical than my company-issued Jonard OPM, and only ~.01 dB difference when the readings are compared. The carrying case holds it nicely on my belt.

As a basic, "is there signal?" meter it works well
Bought to use on metro-distance wide area network links. In the -20 range it is within about a db and a half of what the switch reports, good enough for establishing if there's even anything coming across the fiber cable without giving one's self poor-man's LASIK in the process.I dinged it down to a three-star rating because nearly every fiber I've worked with for the last decade has used the smaller LC connector with its likewise small ferrule, and this tool uses the larger SC/ST/FC ferrule size. If someone would make a worthwhile (ie not plastic) adapter I'd rank it higher, but it is a bit awkward having to maintain a selection of adapters and cables in the bag with it.
