No more water condensation running down my bathroom walls!
Our old fan, which was the same rating as this one for moisture removal, was failing badly in our kids' bathroom. My son likes to take long and very hot showers and the water would be running down the walls and we were starting to get mold growth on the walls and ceiling from it. I was certain that we needed a more powerful fan, but we decided to go with this one first because it fit the hole in the ceiling already and the more powerful models would have required making modifications to the ceiling. So glad we did this first! The fan works PERFECTLY. We just needed to replace our 14 year old one. There is not one drop of moisture in the small room now after the kids take showers. The previous model we had was exactly like this one except it had two light options--full power on and a nightlight level. My husband discovered that he could wire this a little differently and make the nightlight work in this model, even though it isn't advertised as having this option (and the model that had it was more expensive, so we were just going to do without it).

Works great and I like the noise level.
I like that the noise level is loud. It gives more privacy. We replaced an exhaust fan from 1978 and it fits fine.

LOUD but effective, as long as you have proper airflow!
PROS:- Insanely strong suction.- Covers a large area, good if you're covering a hold from a previous large unit.- Can take a reasonably bright bulb, and diffuses it nicely, so you can light a whole bathroom pretty well if you put the right bulb in it. Or, you can put a low-brightness bulb in there if it's just meant to be supplemental. The versatility is nice, and not something you'll get out of the units that have their own built-in LED panels.CONS:- This thing is LOUD. You can still have a conversation or listen to music over it - but people in adjacent rooms WILL hear it, at least in the background.- Like most strong fans, you'll need to clean regularly, as dust will quickly collect not only in the fan, but on the insight of the light cover.- Make absolutely sure the room has proper ventilation for airflow, whether that's an HVAC vent, or an open window, or a vent / gap under the door. Because of the fan's strong suction, it will essentially act like a vacuum, and create slight negative pressure in the room if it's not getting airflow from somewhere else to replace the air it's sucking out. Not only can you wear out the motor this way, but you won't get the full efficiency out of the fan. We had water streaks running down our walls after hot showers because the steam couldn't vent, so it just condensed. Once we shaved an inch off the bottom of the bathroom door, the problem was ALMOST gone - and opening a window essentially solves it.

Great looking. Powerful. Gets the job done. A+++
Looks good. Easy install. Powerful fan. 100 watt light is really nice. A definite improvement from the builder grade fan I had previously. Highly recommend this fan!

Worth the money
Works great! It clears all the moisture out of our bathroom. It provides a decent amount of light as well. It’s better to spend more money on a good one than on of the cheaper Broan fan light combos. This one is all around better.

A noisy fan.
We thought we had ordered the one with the night light but I guess we didn’t. By the time the person we hired to install it found out it wasn’t it was too late. It took him about four hours to install it. More money. The fan is terribly loud but it does what it is supposed to do. I wish I had gotten a different one.

It is loud!
It does the job but it is very loud. Very loud! I would not buy it again even though the install was easy. It fit right into the space of the fan we had before. I am not sure how easy it would be if that were not the case.
