Amazing ... but ... WEAR DISPOSABLE GLOVES
So, this comes in a foil pouch, that is completely sealed. When you open it, WEAR GLOVES. I didn't. - more on that later. The roll is a mesh-like material that is black, and somewhat sticky. I had a cross-piece of a tent made out of aluminum, that had broke. Rather than throw the 12 ft x 12 ft pavilion way, I opted to try to fix it.I used JB Weld metal composite epoxy to tack the pieces together, and let it cure. The next day, I tacked down a heavy copper wire on top to act as a "splint".Then, I wrapped the Fiberglass Casting tape over the entire piece, and when it was wrapped - I simply submerged the entire cross-piece in a bucket of water for ~10-15 seconds and set it aside to cure and dry. The result is amazing, this stuff sets up "rock hard".Wear gloves, because if you don't; you will have your hands coated with a sticky substance that is immune to dish-washing soap, Goop cleaner, Acetone, lava soap, fingernail remover and raw gasoline. This stuff will make your hands sticky and black - and this stuff will simply have to wear off over the next week or so. A set of Nitrite Gloves would have been the wise thing to do - in retrospect.

Dip in water for 3 seconds squeeze out excess water and apply! DON'T STRETCH - LAY IN PLACE!
This product is meant to be applied immediately after getting wet. It is not meant to be stretched into place but laid into place. It will start to harden within about 2 minutes. Very helpful to form it with your hands this means after you have wrapped it on gently press your hands over the entire wrap to press it into place. Very helpful to watch a couple of YouTube videos. Know what you are going to do before you start. Once you get it wet it will activate and what ever shape you have it in, in the next couple of minutes is what it will be. DO NOT OVER SOAK IT! PS. Use cool water not cold or hot the chemical reaction will make it feel warm.

Dries super fast but does the job
Works great, super hard just like the doctors office. Dries in about 1.5-2 minutes so you have to work fast. I’m not an expert by any means, but I watched the doctor put my cast on and the stuff they used stayed pliable for at least five minutes. The stuff was drying before even got finished on my arm. If you don’t know what you’re doing I would advise watching a YouTube video on how to do a cast before you start so you know exactly what to do with the tape and get it done ASAP. If you’re doing a leg, first off you would need more than one roll, and I would definitely cut it into pieces so you have time to work with it. Otherwise it’s perfect.

Worthless waste for money and ruined
This product was used step by step to make a cast for a 4ft leg on my kiddos doll. I followed step by step instructions. The first roll was submitted in water for three minutes. Excess squeeze out and it wuke not unroll. I tried to soak it again for a few more minutes and still didn't work. Opened the second roll follow the same procedure but left it in the water for 2 minutes.. still hard as rock just like whe. I put in to begin with. Rock hard after and extra 2 minutes.. no I have a child with disabilities having a melt down all day bc I can't fix her sleeping buxdy... do not waste your money

Makes a durable cast
It's really is doing material. Great casting material. Once you wrap it around you can't take the rap and try to re rap with it. Once it's got out in place you need to leave it they for a strong hold. It's hard to remove so have a pliers to grab should with so you can remove the cast. Good dog for a home made cast.

Works as expected
You have to submerge it in warm water for 3-4 seconds and squish it so that the water penetrates it well and then work fast with it it’s gonna dry super fast and the leftovers can’t be reused - no complaints about it works great

Casting Tape
One roll worked great, the other didn’t work at all and had to throw it away.
